These are the 3 ways in which Petrol is transported in Kenya from the refinery to towns and cities around Kenya:
1. Road tankers
This is the most common way of transporting petrol in Kenya. Large tankers are loaded with petrol at the refinery or depot and transported by road to petrol stations.
2. Pipeline
The Kenya Pipeline Company operates a network of pipelines that transport petrol from Mombasa to Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, and other major towns in the country.
3. Rail
Some petrol is transported by rail, mainly from Mombasa to Nairobi. However, this method is less common than road and pipeline transport.
