Digital Blacksmiths

Digital Blacksmiths At TechforTrade we've developed the world's first low cost open source system for recycling plastic water bottles to make filament for 3D printing.

We are Digital Blacksmiths and we are here to change the future of manufacturing. By harnessing digital manufacturing tools we aim to create local products designed with and for communities in the developing world. We are building a network of maker entrepreneurs that want to be a part of this movement. Each Blacksmith expands their ability for impact by sharing their work with a global network. The future of product development will be one defined by collaboration and local manufacturing.
