At the Last Mile Distribution Forum in Nairobi, hosted as part of the Global Distributors Collective (GDC) annual gathering, that question echoed through every conversation, every insight shared, and every story told. Behind every solar product delivered to a remote household, every clean cooking solution adopted, and every productive use technology reaching a small business, there are distributors, enterprises, partnerships, and systems quietly working to bridge the gap between innovation and impact.
KEREA was honored to contribute to these conversations by sharing reflections on Kenyaโs evolving energy access landscape and our work under the Power for Food Partnership-SNV_Kenya. We also highlighted how our strategic pillars, from policy advocacy and enterprise support to market development, partnerships, and access to finance, continue to shape a more inclusive and resilient clean energy ecosystem.
One thing became increasingly clear throughout the forum: the energy transition will not happen from boardrooms alone. It will happen through the everyday work of those ensuring solutions actually reach communities, enterprises, and households at the last mile.
And perhaps that is where the real story of sustainable development begins.
We appreciate the Global Distributors Collective (GDC), Practical Action, Bopinc, and all partners for convening such an important platform for learning, collaboration, and shared progress.
