Across every county and in every corner of Kenya, our commitment to empowering communities remains unwavering and inclusive. Yesterday, the Kenya Power Foundation led by Eng. Dr Mutegi Mbae, Regional Manager Mt Kenya, presented a cheque to Chief Mbogori Girls’ High School in support of a dormitory renovation project that will serve as teachers’ quarters, enhancing learner supervision and wellbeing under the programme.
Speaking during the cheque presentation, Eng. Dr. Mbae emphasised the importance of strong support systems in education, stating, “A conducive learning environment begins with strong support systems.
The renovated dormitory will provide accommodation for teachers dedicated to learners’ care and wellbeing, reflecting our commitment to quality education. When we empower a girl child, we empower not just an individual, but generations to come.”
On her part, the school’s Principal, Mrs. Antonina Mugambi, lauded the Foundation’s contribution, noting that the initiative will play a significant role in shaping the lives of the architects of Kenya’s tomorrow.
Through sustainable investment in education infrastructure, the Foundation partners with communities to create environments where learners thrive, unlocking opportunities and shaping brighter futures nationwide.
