On Tuesday, GET.invest, in cooperation with , hosted the first Clean Cooking Master Class, ahead of the Clean Cooking Forum 2019 by Clean Cooking Alliance. During the master class, 12 competitively selected companies from 6 African countries, 5 of which are led by female entrepreneurs, gained insights into how to obtain financing to scale up business operations.

The masterclass featured interactive session by GET.invest Finance Catalyst advisors Kofi Nketsia-Tabiri and Paul VAN AALST, Allan Marega, the Managing Director of Global Supply Solutions – the world's 6th largest biomass briquettes producer, Marcel Raats, senior advisor and Esther Reilink, Senior Policy Advisor at the Dutch Foreign Ministry.

The event has been a great success, not least due to the active participation of all attendees, and marks a significant step forward in GET.invest’s efforts to support projects in accessing finance.
