Recently I got an assignment to clear the "please insert correct map disc" error on a Toyota NDDN W56 radio.

Unfortunately the car stereo display was faulty - it would jack and fail to display the CD/Map slots. At some point we had to apply a little force.

The map disc didn't work as expected because it was requesting for the display to close for it to start the process. I concluded that there is a link between the display sceen and the map disc.

If your car stereo display is faulty or has mechanical damage, chances are your NDDN W56/57/58 map disc won't work.

List of Toyota Car stereos that require DVD map discs to clear the "please insert correct map disc" error. The model number can be found on the bottom right side of the display.

You can get your copy for just Ksh 500 if you can pick it from Juja/Nakuru. Other Locations are subject to additions (transport & delivery) charges.
