រាជធានីភ្នំពេញ - ថ្ងៃទី៣០-៣១ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រុមការងារវិទ្យាស្ថានជាតិវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍ (វ.ប.ន.) បានអនុវត្តន៍សកម្មភាព «តាមដាន និងវាយតម្លៃវឌ្ឍនភាព នៃការអនុវត្តដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកទេស លើកទី១» តាមប្រព័ន្ធអនទ្បាញ ជាមួយសិប្បកម្មចំនួន២ គឺ៖ សិប្បកម្ម មេផ្ទះ និងសិប្បកម្ម មរតកទេពស្វាយជួរ, និងហាងចំនួន១ គឺហាង ចាណាងជនជាតិដើម។

ការតាមដាននិងវាយតម្លៃលើកទី១ នេះ ផ្ដោតសំខាន់លើការប្រឹក្សាពន្យល់បន្ថែមលើលទ្ធផលដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកទេស និងវឌ្ឍនភាព នៃការអនុវត្តដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកទេស ដើម្បីពង្រឹងគុណភាព និងស្តង់ដារសុវត្ថិភាពនៃផលិតផល​ និង បង្កើនប្រសិទ្ធភាពខ្សែសង្វាក់ផលិតកម្មនិងការលក់ សម្រាប់កំណើនអាជីវកម្ម។

វិទ្យាស្ថានជាតិ វ.ប.ន. នៅតែបន្តប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តគាំទ្រដល់សហគ្រាសធុនតូច និងមធ្យម (SMEs) តាមរយៈការផ្តល់ដំណោះស្រាយបច្ចេកទេស ដើម្បីបង្កើនសមត្ថភាពផលិតកម្ម និងភាពប្រកួតប្រជែងក្នុងទីផ្សារ។

​✨First Progress Monitoring and Evaluation on Technical Solutions Implementation

Phnom Penh, July 30-31, 2026 — a team of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) conducted virtually the "first progress monitoring and evaluation (M&E) on technical solutions implementation", with two Enterprises namely: Meh Pteah Handicraft and Morodoktep Svaychour Handicraft, and one restaurant namely: Chanang Indigenous.

This initial M&E focused primarily on further consultation and explanation regarding the technical solution results, and progress of technical solutions implementation, aimed at enhancing quality and safety standards of products, and improving the efficiency of production line and commercial line for business growth.

NISTI remains committed to supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by providing technical solutions to enhance production capacity and market competitiveness.

Supporting Local SMEs through Technical Solution & Collaboration

Phnom Penh, July 30, 2026 — The team from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) conducted a technical consultation session with Lim Sreng handicraft , to discuss their operational challenges and provide technical solutions.

The consultation focused on the following areas:

1. Assess the operational challenges encountered by the enterprise, including current storage and preservation practices, packaging systems, and the intrinsic and extrinsic factors contributing to product deterioration and reduced shelf life.
2. Provide technical recommendations to address the identified challenges, with the aim of improving production efficiency, enhancing product quality and safety, and ensuring compliance for consumer use

NISTI First Semester Performance Review Meeting outlined the work plan for the second semester of 2026 and its strategic mechanisms in 2027.

On 29 July 2026, the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) organized this meeting, which was presided over by H.E. Hong Rada, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation, and H.E.Dr. Keo Socheat, Director General of the NISTI.

The meeting focused on the following key objectives:
✅ Reviewing the results of the first semester:
Evaluating work achievements, strengths, areas for improvement, challenges, recommendations, and defining work directions for the second semester of 2026.
✅ Strengthening support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs):
Implementing program interventions through the provision of technical solutions, consultancy services, and technology transfer.
✅ Expanding cooperation with national and international partners:
Attracting technologies, knowledge, resources, and new cooperation projects.

Through its commitment, NISTI continues to develop and implement innovative technology solutions to accelerate the enhancement of MSMEs’ competitiveness and promote the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) sector for sustainable national development.

Phnom Penh, July 28, 2026: The National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI), in collaboration with the General Department of Small & Medium Enterprises and Handicraft, CamTech University, and Kenan Foundation Asia, organized an online training program on “The Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): Google Gemini and NotebookLM to Support Micro, Small​ and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)”, was presided over by H.E. Dr. Keo Socheat, Director General of NISTI, with the participation of 370 representatives from enterprises and relevant institutions.

This training aims to enhance digital capacity and promote the use of artificial intelligence tools among MSMEs in Cambodia, in order to strengthen resilience, improve work efficiency, and increase competitiveness in the digital economy era. This training program marks a significant milestone in supporting local enterprises to respond to global technology trends and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to modernize their businesses.

Promoting research and development on canned fish marinated with khmer herb products

The National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI), in collaboration with the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and UNICA Enterprise, has implemented a research and development project on canned fish marinated with khmer herb products to create a canned food product that provides convenience for consumers, along with quality, safety and maintaining the original taste of Cambodian food.

The project focuses on developing a product prototype through formulation study, production process testing, sensory testing, facilitating the transfer of food processing technology, and providing technical guidance to UNICA Enterprise on product quality, food safety, packaging and product shelf-life evaluation in preparation for future production and commercialization. The project also contributes to adding value to local fisheries resources and promoting the food processing industry in Cambodia.
