KAMO announces strategic partnership with IACC Indochina Aviation Center

KAMO SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH IACC INDOCHINA AVIATION CENTER TO OFFER LINE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS IN PHNOM PENH, SIEM REAP, SIHANOUKVILLE

PHNOM PENH, July 17, 2020 / - K.A.M.O Services Co., Ltd (“KAMO”) will embark on a partnership to offer line maintenance operations for IACC Indochina Aviation Center (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., Asia 's premier aviation services company.

“It is indeed an honour to join hands with IACC Indochina Aviation Center today.” Said Mr. THO DA, KAMO’s Chief Executive Officer. “ The signing of this agreement allows KAMO to tap into the growing private jet market in Asia, buttressing the company’s profile as an ideal partner for aircraft maintenance services and solutions.

As a regional aviation service provider, IACC offers comprehensive aircraft handling and hospitality services in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Thailand and Vietnam. A strategic alliance will allow KAMO’s site stations in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville to service IACC private jets on multi-city trips passing by these stations.

“KAMO is committed to meeting our customers’ needs with a sense of urgency, while at the same time delivering superior service and high-quality work. Be it commercial flight providers or private jets, KAMO wants to ensures uncompromised standards to the safety, quality, reliability and availability of their fleets.” said THO DA.

All of IACC stations are NATA Safety 1st certified. IACC’s internationally experienced team has extensive experience handling all kind of VIP, government, passenger, cargo and military flights.

Dennis Tan, KAMO’s Commercial Director said the agreement bears testimony to the high standards of professionalism in KAMO and reflects on level of competency of KAMO engineers and mechanics.
KAMO licensed engineers are fully trained and certified to work on many aircraft types such as B737CL, B737NG and A319/320/321 (CFM 56, V2500). They also hold FAA, CAAC, SSCA and DGCA Indonesia licenses.

According to ICF analysis, global passenger traffic is expected to drop 62 percent year on year in 2020. Despite the fall out from CORVID-19 pandemic on air travel, charter flights have regained a 90% booking capacity as of June of 2020. A partnership between KAMO and IACC Indochina Aviation Center would offer both companies more opportunities to tap into this recovery in the private jet and VIP segments.

With the signing of the contract, KAMO has taken a huge step forward in providing transit services, pre-flight services, post-flight services and weekly services for the aviation industry in Cambodia. This in turn helps to contribute to the building of the nation’s infrastructure as an aircraft maintenance hub.

With the signing of this memorandum of understanding, KAMO becomes IACC Indochina Aviation Center’s preferred partner of choice in the aircraft maintenance industry.

Our growing company is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to oversee the financial well-being of the company, producing financial reports, projections, and budgets. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and shall direct and organize all general accounting activities as well as the company accounting staff.

Responsibilities

a) Ensures that the company’s financial records and record-keeping methods are maintained in accordance with all applicable Cambodian legal requirements and banking standards.

b) Preparation of financial statements, business activities reports and financial forecasting as required by the daily activities.

c) Manages account preparations.

d) Production of company departmental budgets in conjunction with departmental heads and the CEO (Accountable Manager)

e) Checks and verifies all company expenses, informing the CEO immediately of any irregularities.

f) Prepares month end accruals and journal entries.

g) Manages company payroll.

h) Oversees company’s investments by maintaining control of finances received from investors.

i) Periodically reviews the company’s financial reports and identifies opportunities for cost reduction.

j) Ensure that customer invoices are distributed in a timely manner and advise the CEO of any non-payments/failures of customers to meet payment deadlines.

k) Ensures the timely payment of invoices received against the company for goods or services that have been provided, in accordance with the supplier’s payment terms.

l) Prepares staff payroll.

m) Working with the Business Development Manager

n) Ensures that all job descriptions for the positions within the company are kept current.

o) Ensures that employees contracts are raised to cover their Terms and Conditions, covering their position within the company, in consultation with the CEO (Accountable Manager)/Head of Department.

p) Raises offer letters to prospective employees once selected in conjunction with the CEO (Accountable Manager) / Heads of Department.

q) Ensures that where necessary, all work permits, residency permits and visas as required to cover the new employee, are obtained from the relevant Government Departments in a timely manner.

r) Monitors and records employee absence and sickness. Maintains vacation requirements in line with the company rules for each employee.

s) Participates in any employee disciplinary actions under guidance from the CEO (Accountable Manager).

t) Ensures that confidential employee records are created using a manual or computerized system. All records must be easily retrieved from whichever system is used. Confidentiality will always be maintained, information about any individual employee will only be disclosed to the CEO or designated Head of Department, when requested formally.

u) Takes part in Budgetary requirements as requested by the CEO (Accountable Manager).

v) Maintains employee benefit programs and keeps employees advised of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit.

w) Performs any other duties as may be required by the CEO. (Accountable Manager)
