주한스위스대사관이 주최한 「2026 한-스위스 혁신주간」의 ‘PechaKucha Storytelling Night’ 행사에 연사로 참석한 쎄트렉아이 안병준 책임연구원은 다양한 분야의 연사들과 함께 우주산업 분야에서의 경험과 인사이트를 나누며 청중들과 소통했습니다.

안병준 책임연구원은 현장에서 SpaceEye-T의 초고해상도 위성영상을 활용한 스토리텔링을 통해 위성영상이 제공하는 정보의 가치와 우주기술의 중요성을 강조했습니다.

쎄트렉아이는 앞으로도 기술혁신과 글로벌 협력을 바탕으로 우주산업의 새로운 가능성을 열어가겠습니다.

Satrec Initiative’s Bryan Ahn participated as a speaker at the ‘PechaKucha Storytelling Night’ during Swiss-Korean Innovation Week 2026, hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in the Republic of Korea, sharing insights from the space industry alongside speakers from diverse fields.

Through storytelling based on SpaceEye-T’s very very high-resolution satellite imagery, he highlighted the value of satellite-derived information and the importance of space technologies.

Satrec Initiative will continue exploring new possibilities in the space industry through technological innovation and global collaboration.

🛡️2026 한국군사과학기술학회 종합학술대회 🛰

쎄트렉아이는 지난 6월 10일(수)부터 12일(금)까지 제주국제컨벤션센터(ICC)에서 개최된 「한국군사과학기술학회 종합학술대회」에 참가했습니다.

이번 학술대회에서 쎄트렉아이 연구원들은 저궤도 통신위성 및 위성 군집 운용 분야의 다양한 연구 성과를 발표하며 기술 역량과 개발 경험을 공유했습니다.

쎄트렉아이는 앞으로도 위성 기술 연구개발을 통해 대한민국 우주·국방 산업 발전에 기여하겠습니다.

Satrec Initiative participated in the 2026 Korea Institute of Military Science and Technology Conference from June 10-12.

Our engineers presented a range of research achievements in LEO communication satellites and satellite constellation operations, showcasing Satrec Initiative’s technical capabilities and development expertise.

We will continue advancing satellite technologies and contributing to the growth of Korea’s space and defense industries.

🇳🇱 SmallSat Europe 2026 🛰️

지난 5월 28일 「SmallSat Europe 2026」의 ‘SpaceNews Defense Stage’ 세션에 패널로 참석한 쎄트렉아이 김도형 이사는 NATO, FIVEYES 등 서방 국가들의 트렌드를 중심으로 상업용 위성의 우주기반 ISR 수요 증가와 미래 방향성에 대한 인사이트를 공유했습니다.

김 이사는 쎄트렉아이가 추진 중인 SpaceEye-T 임대서비스 모델을 소개하며, 2028년 발사 예정인 후속 위성과 차세대 초고해상도 위성 개발을 기반으로 고객이 ISR 역량을 확보하고 독자적 지구관측 능력을 구축할 수 있도록 지원하겠다고 전했습니다.

On May 28, Eugene D. Kim, EVP of Satrec Initiative, joined the ‘SpaceNews Defense Stage’ session at SmallSat Europe 2026 as a panelist, sharing insights into growing demand for commercial satellite-enabled ISR across NATO and Five Eyes countries.

He introduced our SpaceEye-T leasing model and outlined our plans for a follow-on satellite in 2028, as well as our roadmap for next-generation UHR satellites, designed to support customers in establishing sovereign Earth observation and ISR capabilities.

🛰️ 김이을 대표이사, 2026 초소형위성워크샵 참석 🎙️

쎄트렉아이 김이을 대표이사는 지난 5월 28일 개최된 「2026년 제11회 초소형위성워크샵」의 '초소형위성 기술 전망과 발전 방안' 패널 토론에 참석하여 국내 우주산업 전문가들과 함께 초소형위성 기술의 발전 방향과 산업 경쟁력 강화에 대한 다양한 의견을 나누었습니다.

김 대표는 쎄트렉아이의 초소형 EO 및 SAR 위성 개발 헤리티지를 바탕으로 기술 신뢰성을 높이고, 우주산업 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다고 전했습니다.

Dr. Ee-Eul Kim, CEO of Satrec Initiative, participated in a panel discussion at the 2026 Nano/Microsat Workshop held in Korea on May 28.

During the session, titled “Future Prospects and Development Strategies for Nano/Microsat Technologies,” Dr. Kim joined experts from across Korea’s space sector to discuss the future of Nano/Microsat technologies and strategies for strengthening industry competitiveness.

Satrec Initiative also shared its vision to enhance technological reliability based on its proven heritage in microsatellite development, while contributing to the growth of the space industry.

쎄트렉아이 박원규 박사는 5월 22일 서울에서 개최된 「한국위성정보통신학회 창립 35주년 기념 국내 위성통신 기술개발 워크샵」에 연사로 참석하여, ‘저궤도 통신위성 기술’을 주제로 발표를 진행했습니다.

이번 발표에서 쎄트렉아이는 저궤도 통신위성 기술의 글로벌 트렌드와 함께, 국내 통신 주권 확보를 위한 핵심 기술 및 생태계 구축 방향에 대해 다양한 의견을 제시했습니다.

Dr. Wonkyu Park of Satrec Initiative participated as a speaker at the Satellite Communications Technology Workshop held on May 22 in Seoul, where he delivered a presentation on LEO Satellite Communication Technologies.

During the presentation, Satrec Initiative shared insights into global trends in LEO satellite communications and presented key technologies and strategic directions for building a domestic LEO ecosystem and strengthening Korea’s communications sovereignty.

쎄트렉아이 김도형 이사는 오는 5월 26일–28일 네덜란드 암스테르담에서 개최되는 「SmallSat Europe 2026」의 ‘SpaceNews Defense Stage’ 세션에 패널로 참여합니다.

쎄트렉아이는 이번 세션에서 EUSI, ICEYE, Space Inventor 등 글로벌 기업들과 함께 상업 위성과 GEOINT 기술이 만들어갈 우주기반 ISR의 활용 방향과 전략에 대해 논의할 예정입니다.

쎄트렉아이 김도형 이사는 5월 14일–15일 여수에서 개최된「한국우주안보학회 2026 춘계학술대회」에 참석하여, SpaceEye-T 발사 이후 지난 1년간의 주요 성과를 소개하고 향후 사업 계획을 공유했습니다.

이번 학회에서 김 이사는 SpaceEye-T 기반 위성 임대서비스(Satellite-as-a-Service)와 신규 촬영서비스(Tasking-as-a-Service)를 통해 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력을 강화하고, 차세대 초고해상도 위성 개발을 바탕으로 대한민국 우주산업 발전과 국가안보 역량 강화에 기여하겠다고 전했습니다.

Eugene D. Kim, EVP of Satrec Initiative(SI), attended the 2026 KASS (The Korean Academy of Space Security) Spring Conference, held in Yeosu from May 14-15, where we shared key achievements and milestones from SpaceEye-T’s first year in orbit, along with our future business plans.

He highlighted that SI will strive to strengthen global market competitiveness through SpaceEye-T-based Satellite-as-a-Service and Tasking-as-a-Service, and to contribute to the development of the Korean space industry and the enhancement of national security capabilities by developing next-generation ultra-high-resolution satellites.

김 대표는 “뉴 스페이스 기업이 여는 K-스페이스의 성장 기회”를 주제로 진행된 패널 토론에 참여하여, 최근 심화되는 ‘우주 주권’ 경쟁 속에서, 국가 간 우주 역량 격차를 줄이기 위한 새로운 접근 방법과 국내 우주기업이 글로벌 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해 필요한 전략에 대해서도 의견을 공유했습니다.
