AIDOT (CEO Jae-hoon Jeong) announced that its AI-powered urolithiasis diagnostic support solution, URO dot AI, has officially entered the non-reimbursable health insurance market following a notice revision by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Effective September 1 nationwide, medical staff can now officially prescribe and bill for diagnostic support utilizing URO dot AI when assessing patients suspected of having urolithiasis.

Traditional methods require visually reviewing hundreds of non-contrast CT cross-sections, risking delays or missed micro-stones under 4mm. AIDOT’s URO dot AI solves this by performing a 3-dimensional anatomical analysis of the urinary system, precisely pinpointing micro-stones under 4mm within 5 minutes. Clinical studies have demonstrated a high accuracy exceeding 96%.

This milestone removes previous barriers to hospital adoption caused by a lack of billing options, which is expected to accelerate implementation across urology clinics and university hospital emergency rooms. Building on this listing, AIDOT is also pursuing research to expand its diagnostics into an X-ray version through a regional project.

AIDOT entered into this strategic partnership with the Autonomous Departmental Government of Tarija, Bolivia, through a collaborative agreement involving Professor Young-hyun Yoon’s research team at Myongji Junior College and Next Bridge.

Under the agreement, AIDOT's medical solutions will be installed in major national hospitals across the Tarija region for full-scale pilot operations and diagnostic services.

This agreement was driven by the goal of improving health and welfare for vulnerable populations—such as local women and children with limited access to advanced medical infrastructure—by combining cutting-edge AI health technology with public healthcare services.

During the demonstration event, AIDOT’s Cerviray AI diagnostic devices and systems were unveiled, receiving an enthusiastic response from state government officials and national hospital medical staff.

AIDOT (CEO Jae-hoon Jeong), a specialized medical AI diagnostic solutions company, announced on August 11 that it has signed a strategic exclusive supply agreement with Guorun International Medical Group, a leading medical device company in China’s Hainan Medical Free Trade Zone, for its AI-powered cervical cancer diagnostic support system, Cerviray AI.

This agreement is drawing significant attention for successfully securing an early entry into the Hainan Medical Free Trade Zone in China, a key gateway for global medical devices entering the Chinese market and a region where fast-track regulatory privileges apply.

Using Guorun International Medical Group's Hainan subsidiary (Guorun International Medical & Industry Group Hainan Co., Ltd.) as a base, AIDOT will immediately supply the Cerviray AI system to major medical institutions across the Hainan region and launch full-scale services.

Cerviray AI consists of dedicated cervical imaging hardware (CDC-C02) and an independently developed AI analysis software. Backed by outstanding diagnostic accuracy—featuring 98% sensitivity and 91% specificity—the system precisely assists medical staff in rapid cervical cancer diagnosis and biopsy site selection.

The contract term is 5 years, securing a recurring revenue model based on paid equipment supply alongside annual software subscription fees.

Based on one year of real-world data (RWD) accumulated within the Hainan medical zone, the company plans to proceed smoothly with obtaining medical device approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

"We have successfully finalized a strategic exclusive agreement for the Hainan region with Guorun International Medical Group, a premier medical device company in China's Hainan Medical Free Trade Zone," said CEO Jae-hoon Jeong. Andong Hospital has officially adopted AIDOT’s AI-powered cervical cancer screening support solution, Cerviray AI, for its obstetrics and gynecology department.

Cerviray AI is an integrated software and hardware system where an AI, trained on cervical medical images, analyzes screening scans to automatically highlight suspicious lesions and assist medical staff in their reading. Final readings and diagnoses are performed by medical professionals, with the AI serving a supportive role.

The product has received Class 3 medical device approval from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) and has been designated as an innovative product by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Additionally, it operates on an on-device architecture where patient data is stored locally on hospital devices rather than being transmitted to an external server, ensuring all test data is processed securely within the hospital.

With this deployment, Cerviray AI has been installed in the obstetrics and gynecology clinic at Andong Hospital and is actively utilized in real-world screening settings. The hospital expects the diagnostic support features—such as checking scan images and visually highlighting suspicious lesion locations—to streamline the screening workflow.

"Being able to visually review areas that require closer examination serves as a valuable reference during consultations," said Heung-ryul Kim, Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Andong Hospital.

An AIDOT representative stated, "Starting with Andong Hospital, we plan to expand practical deployments to the surrounding Andong region and major hub hospitals in the Gyeongnam area. Enhancing Micro-Lesion Detection via Anatomical Context In partnership with the research teams led by Prof. Young-Eun Yoon and Prof. Jae-Hoon Oh (Hanyang University Hospital) and Prof. Dong-Gun Lee (Seoul National University Bundang Hospital), we presented a multi-stage fine-tuning technique for detecting urinary stones in non-contrast CT scans.
· Key Innovation: Utilizing the VISTA3D model, our AI first learns to recognize organs related to urinary stones before applying that anatomical knowledge to stone segmentation.
· Clinical Impact: By teaching the AI to understand the surrounding anatomical context, we significantly improved the detection performance of small, sparse micro-lesions. We plan to integrate these findings into our URO dot AI solution to further elevate its diagnostic precision.
