PCR ABS is an eco-friendly material made by reusing ABS plastics discarded after consumer use.

LG Chem partnered with LG유플러스 (LG Uplus) to develop a remote control made from PCR ABS, replacing virgin plastic. This transition helps reduce about 11 tons of plastic and 3.3 tons of carbon emissions each year.

BCB NPG (Bio-Circular Balanced NeoPentylGlycol) is an eco-friendly material that partially replaces traditional NPG feedstocks with renewable bio-based sources like waste cooking oil and palm byproducts. Its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has proven over 70% compared to traditional NPG, and it has obtained the international certification.
