The Smallsat Workshop is a platform where industry, academia, research, and defense professionals interested in small satellite development, application, and utilization — as well as the NewSpace industry — come together to share the latest technological innovations and exchange information.

나라스페이스가 Washington Hilton, Washington D.C.에서 열린 SGx2026에 참가했습니다. SGx는 일반적인 컨퍼런스와 달리 차세대 우주 리더, 젊은 전문가, NASA를 포함한 글로벌 우주 기관 리더들이 모여 짧고 강렬한 TEDx 스타일의 강연, 패널 토론, 네트워킹을 이어가는 자리입니다.

소형 위성 군집 배치 확장 논의에 참여하고, 젊은 전문가들과 교류하며 나라스페이스의 경험을 나누고 멘토링 역할을 수행했습니다.

NaraSpace participated in SGx2026, held at the Washington Hilton, Washington D.C. Unlike a typical conference, SGx brings together next-generation space leaders, young professionals, and leaders from global space agencies including NASA for short, high-impact TEDx-style talks, panel discussions, and networking.

We joined discussions on scaling small satellite constellation deployments, connected with young professionals, shared NaraSpace's experiences, and took on a mentoring role.

나르샤를 소개합니다. 🛰️

나르샤는 나라스페이스의 20kg급 민간 주도 기후 위성입니다. 넓은 지역을 반복 관측하며 메탄 감시가 핵심 임무입니다.

경기 기후위성 프로젝트 일환으로 추진되는 메탄 모니터링 위성 GYEONGGISat-2A·2B에도 이 나르샤 모델이 적용됩니다.

지금은 AIT(Assembly, Integration and Testing)를 시작하는 단계로 AIT는 부품들을 조립해 위성을 완성하고 우주에서 살아남을 수 있는지 확인하는 단계입니다.

Introducing NarSha. 🛰️

NarSha is a privately-led 20kg-class climate satellite developed by NaraSpace. Its core mission is methane monitoring through repeated wide-area observations.

The NarSha model will also be applied to GYEONGGISat-2A and 2B, methane monitoring satellites being developed as part of the Gyeonggi Climate Satellite Project.

Methane detection capability: 100 kg/h
16U standard CubeSat

It is currently entering the AIT (Assembly, Integration and Testing) phase — the stage where components are assembled into a complete satellite and verified for survival in space.

Naraspace Signs MOU with Indonesia's Telkomsat for Satellite-Based Earth Observation and Data Analytics Solution Cooperation 🌏

Naraspace has officially signed an MOU with Telkomsat (PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia), the satellite-specialized subsidiary of Indonesian state-owned telecommunications group Telkom Indonesia (PT Telkom Indonesia), to cooperate on satellite-based earth observation and data analytics solutions. The signing ceremony was held in person in Jakarta.

The agreement covers cooperation across a wide range of areas, including: ▲ research and technology development in satellite-based earth observation ▲ identification of earth observation service businesses and market opportunities ▲ development of local infrastructure such as ground stations, data processing systems, and data distribution platforms ▲ review of commercialization strategies for value-added data products and solutions ▲ capacity building through education, technology transfer, and personnel exchange.

Through this partnership, Naraspace plans to expand its business opportunities in earth observation data and analytics services across Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian market.

BusanSat, Korea’s first municipal small satellite for marine observation, has successfully completed two-way communication and entered its initial operations phase.

Nara Space was responsible for the satellite system integration and spacecraft bus development for the mission.

Built in a 12U form factor and equipped with a polarization camera, BusanSat will monitor marine fine dust and atmospheric conditions around Busan Port, the West Sea, and the Pacific Ocean. 🛰️🌊
