ICON PY is proud to have contributed to the Tender Support Services for the Rehabilitation, Development, and Future Operation of René Moawad Airport as part of an international consortium comprising airport operators, EPC contractors, and aviation ground handling and support service providers.
Our scope of services encompassed the master planning and conceptual design of a new passenger terminal building and associated landside infrastructure, including parking facilities, curbside circulation, and multimodal access planning, in full alignment with applicable ICAO and IATA standards and recommended practices.
The assignment included passenger flow and Level of Service (LOS) studies, operational planning, aviation systems integration, spatial programming, terminal functionality optimization, and the development of a contemporary architectural identity reflecting the strategic vision of the airport as a regional gateway.
ICON PY’s multidisciplinary contribution further addressed airside–landside interface coordination, passenger processing optimization, circulation efficiency, commercial integration opportunities, and the incorporation of scalable and future-ready aviation infrastructure solutions designed to support long-term operational growth and enhanced passenger experience.
