EUROCERT: Participation in the premier international event for Transport Technology, InnoTrans 2024

EUROCERT participated once again in the internationally renowned Exhibition for Transport Technology and Mobility, InnoTrans 2024, held from September 24-27, 2024, in Berlin.

The central themes of InnoTrans 2024 included electric mobility, digitization, automation, and sustainability in transportation. The InnoTrans Exhibition serves as the global benchmark for new technologies and innovations in the Transport Sector, with a particular emphasis on rail transport. This was confirmed by the success of InnoTrans 2024, which featured approximately 3,000 exhibitors from 56 countries and attracted around 150,000 visitors from 130 countries. During the opening ceremony, the German Minister of Transport, Mr. Volker Wissing, addressed the participants.

EUROCERT's participation in InnoTrans 2024 was highly successful, as numerous business meetings took place at its exhibition space, resulting in agreements for involvement in significant Rail Certification projects in various countries abroad.

It is well known that EUROCERT is among the few accredited Certification Bodies for railway projects and Rolling Stock, recognized by the EU for conducting Certifications based on the European Union Directives regarding rail interoperability.

In this context, EUROCERT has implemented a substantial number of projects in Greece and abroad, focusing on railway infrastructure as well as various types of rolling stock.
