Beit Beirut Urban Observatory
invites you to the opening of
Beirut al-Marfa’
Wednesday November 5 at 6:00 pm, Beit Beirut, Sodeco intersection.
The exhibition explores the entangled relation of Beirut and its port,
from a maritime gateway to contested grounds.
Through archival material, models, installations, and proposals,
the exhibition invites reflection on the port’s shifting role in the life of the city.
Join us in this collective inquiry to reflect, remember, and reimagine.

يدعوكم/ن إلى افتتاح معرض
بيروت المرفأ
يوم الأربعاء 5 تشرين الثاني الساعة 6:00 مساءً في بيت بيروت، تقاطع السوديكو.
يتناول المعرض التاريخ المتشابك لمدينة بيروت ومرفئها، من بوّابة بحريّة إلى أرض متنازع عليها.
من خلال الأرشيف، المجسّمات، التجهيزات، والمقترحات،
يدعو المعرض إلى التأمّل في الدور المتغيّر للمرفأ في حياة المدينة.
انضموا إلينا في هذا التحقيق الجماعي للتأمل والتذكر وإعادة التخيل.
أُنجز هذا المعرض بدعم من:
