Established in Beqaa Valley, since 1962, “Samaha Plants”, one of the major and largest nurseries in Lebanon. For over 5o years, Samaha Plants has been offering the high quality of landscaping and production of trees that meet international quality standards.
Samaha Plants Nursery was founded by “Hanna Samaha Sr”, he was the first man to produce fruit trees in Lebanon. (Annex 1)
Over the last two decades, we have gained experience in packing, shipping and supplying more than forty thousand plants per year to various landscape companies and nurseries abroad in Gulf region and Arab countries such as, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq.
In 2006, due to the demand for fruit trees. We proved ourselves to be leaders in our field by producing more than 500 thousand trees and plants per year. Mr. Sleiman Samaha decided to found: “The Lebanese Nurseries Association” جمعية مشاتل لبنان in cooperating with the Lebanese Government in order to help and serve all the farmers and Nurseries in the Beqaa Valley by offer wide quantities of virus-free fruit trees for Municipalities, Associations… Mr. Sleiman was elected as President of this Association from 2006 till now.
Three Generations since our beginning.
Recently, Hanna Sleiman Samaha, an agricultural engineer, aims to complete the march of the nursery in order to:
· Supervise the nursery staff to cultivate, and harvest trees.
· Develop innovative methods in growing plants
· Present technical reports, meet with clients, and communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
· Advocate for sustainable agriculture on a local and national level to interested parties.

Our continuous search for novelties increases and completes our range of products and introduces new varieties to the local market. Thus, we were able to establish deep business relationships with worldwide nurseries.

Growing plants in our very unique micro climate has encouraged us to enlarge the variety of our production. Since then we have planted more Fruit trees than any other nursery, our spectrum of fruit plants is fast growing and widely demanded in horticulture and agriculture sector. fruit trees are carefully nurtured and grown under the guidance of our expert horticulturists. Our wide variety of fruit plants rangers between (Apple, Peach, Cherry, Pears, plum, Almond , Pistachio , Olive ).
As a pioneer in production of special Mediterranean and fruit pants Samaha plants has emphasized on widest range of “Apple Trees” (Red Velox, Jeromine, Red Chief, Golden B , Golden Pink , Pink Lady , Granny Smith,…. ) this was the reason behind our logo design .

During time, the company grew and developed in professional terms while maintaining International quality standards including ISO 9001 in 2008. (Annex 2)
The company applied for, and was granted ISO certificate in Quality management to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
Tracking, record keeping, testing and other measures with appropriate oversight management systems are essential parts of product development and commercial life cycle for purposes of quality control and seed purity. Since maintaining a seed variety’s trueness to type is critical for market acceptance and use, robust quality management practices are needed for both biotechnology or non-biotechnology derived crops. The practices outlined are based on general quality management principles. Quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, provide structure and rigor to business practices by way of managing key process variables, thereby establishing routine and consistent output from their processes.
