අපි කලින් ලිපි වලින් කතා කළානේ අතින් අනන කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකට වඩා Ready-mix (RMC) කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ තියෙන වෙනස සහ "වතුර-සිමෙන්ති අනුපාතය" (Water-Cement Ratio) හරියට තියාගන්න එක කොච්චර වැදගත්ද කියලා. අද අපි කතා කරන්නේ මේ Ready-mix කොන්ක්‍රීට් වලට දාන Admixtures (කෙමිකල් වර්ග) ගැන.

අතින් අනද්දී අපි සාමාන්‍යයෙන් දාන්නේ සිමෙන්ති, වැලි, ගල් සහ වතුර විතරයිනේ. හැබැයි RMC එකකදී මේ Admixtures අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම වගේ පාවිච්චි කරනවා. මොනවද මේවා? ඇයි මේවා අපේ කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකට ඕන කරන්නේ?

මොනවද මේ Admixtures?
සරලවම කිව්වොත්, කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ ස්වභාවය (හයි වෙන වේගය, වැඩ කරන්න තියෙන ලේසි ගතිය, ශක්තිය) අපිට ඕන විදිහට වෙනස් කරගන්න පාවිච්චි කරන රසායනික ද්‍රව්‍ය තමයි මේවා.

ප්‍රධාන Admixtures වර්ග සහ ඒවායේ වැදගත්කම
1. Retarders (හයි වෙන එක පරක්කු කරන කෙමිකල්)
මේක තමයි Ready-mix කොන්ක්‍රීට් වල තියෙන වැදගත්ම දේ.

ඇයි ඕන කරන්නේ? ලංකාවේ තියෙන රස්නයත් එක්ක කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකක් ඉක්මනින් හයි වෙන්න බලනවා. ඒ වගේම කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක ප්ලාන්ට් එකේ ඉදලා සයිට් එකට එනකන් ට්‍රැෆික් එකේ හිර වුණොත්, ට්‍රක් එක ඇතුළේදීම කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක හයි වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
ප්‍රයෝජනය: Retarders දැම්මම කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක හයි වෙන්න යන වෙලාව පැය කිහිපයකින් පස්සට දාන්න පුළුවන්. එතකොට සයිට් එකට ගෙනල්ලා වැඩේ ඉවර කරනකන් කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක "අලුත්" පිටම තියාගන්න පුළුවන්.
2. Plasticizers සහ Superplasticizers (වතුර අඩුවෙන් පාවිච්චි කරලා වැඩේ ලේසි කරගන්න)
අපි කලින් ලිපියක කිව්වා මතක ඇති වතුර වැඩි වුණොත් කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ ශක්තිය (Strength) අඩුවෙනවා කියලා. හැබැයි වතුර ගොඩක් අඩු වුණොත් කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක බුරුල් නැති නිසා වැඩ කරන්න අමාරුයි.

ඇයි ඕන කරන්නේ? වතුර ගොඩක් දාන්නේ නැතුව, කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක හොදට ගලාගෙන යන මට්ටමට (Workability) ගන්න තමයි මේවා පාවිච්චි කරන්නේ.
ප්‍රයෝජනය: මේක නිසා "වතුර-සිමෙන්ති අනුපාතය" අඩුවෙන් තියාගෙන උපරිම ශක්තියක් ගන්න පුළුවන්. විශේෂයෙන්ම කම්බි ගොඩක් තියෙන තැන් වලට කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක හොදට කාන්දු වෙන්න මේවා උදව් වෙනවා.
3. Accelerators (හයි වෙන එක වේගවත් කරන කෙමිකල්)
මේවා Retarders වලට හරියටම ප්‍රතිවිරුද්ධ දේ තමයි කරන්නේ.

ඇයි ඕන කරන්නේ? හදිසි අලුත්වැඩියාවකදී හෝ ඉතා ඉක්මනින් කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකට බර (Load) දාන්න ඕන වෙලාවකදී මේවා පාවිච්චි කරනවා.
ප්‍රයෝජනය: කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක දාලා පැය කිහිපයකින් හෝ දින කිහිපයකින් අවශ්‍ය ශක්තිය ලබාගන්න උදව් වෙනවා.
4. Water Proofing Admixtures (වතුර කාන්දු වීම වළක්වන කෙමිකල්)
වෙරළබඩ පළාත් වල ඉන්න අයට සහ ස්ලැබ් එක උඩ වතුර රැදෙන්න ඉඩ තියෙන තැන් වලට මේක ඉතා වැදගත්.

ඇයි ඕන කරන්නේ? කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක ඇතුළේ තියෙන ඉතා කුඩා සිදුරු (Pores) වහලා දාන්න මේවා උදව් වෙනවා.
ප්‍රයෝජනය: මේ හරහා කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක ඇතුළට වතුර සහ ලුණු වාතය (Sea breeze) කාන්දු වීම වළක්වනවා. ඒ නිසා අපි කලින් කතා කළ කම්බි මලකඩ කෑම (Corrosion) පාලනය කරලා, කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ ආයු කාලය වැඩි කරනවා.
ඇයි අපි මේවා අපේ කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකට දාන්න ඕනේ?
ගුණාත්මකභාවය (Quality): අතින් අනන කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකකදී අපිට මේ වගේ පාලනයක් ගන්න බැහැ. හැබැයි RMC එකකදී මේ කෙමිකල් නිසා ඕනෑම දුරක තියෙන සයිට් එකකට නියමිත ප්‍රමිතියට කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක ගේන්න පුළුවන්.
ශක්තිය (Strength): වතුර අඩුවෙන් දාලා, හැබැයි හොදට වැඩ කරන්න පුළුවන් මට්ටමේ කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකක් හදාගන්න පුළුවන් වෙන්නේ මේ කෙමිකල් නිසයි.
වැඩේ ලේසි වීම: කොන්ක්‍රීට් පම්ප් එකකින් (Concrete Pump) උඩ තට්ටුවකට කොන්ක්‍රීට් යවද්දී, ඒක හිර වෙන්නේ නැතුව ලේසියෙන් යන්න මේ Admixtures අත්‍යවශ්‍යයි.
සාරාංශය: අපි කලින් කතා කළ Hydration (රසායනික ක්‍රියාවලිය) සහ Curing (සාත්තු කිරීම) වගේම, මේ Admixtures නිවැරදිව පාවිච්චි කිරීමත් කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකක ශක්තියට සහ කල්පැවැත්මට සෘජුවම බලපානවා. විශේෂයෙන්ම ඔයාගේ නිවස වෙරළබඩ ප්‍රදේශයක හදනවා නම්, Water proofing සහ Superplasticizers සහිත Ready-mix කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකක් පාවිච්චි කිරීම කම්බි ආරක්ෂා කරගන්න තියෙන හොදම විසඳුමක්.

අතින් අනන "Hand Mix" එකද? ෆැක්ටරියෙන් එන "Ready-Mix" එකද?
අපි ගෙයක් හදද්දී හරි, පාලමක් හදද්දී හරි කොන්ක්‍රීට් කියන්නේ වැඩබිමේ ප්‍රධානම සාධකයයි. හැබැයි ගොඩක් දෙනෙක්ට තියෙන ප්‍රශ්නයක් තමයි වැඩබිමේදීම අතින් (හෝ කුඩා මැෂින් එකකින්) අනන එකද හොඳ, නැත්නම් ලොකු මික්සර්ස් (Transit Mixers) එන Ready-Mix කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකද හොඳ කියලා. මේ දෙකේම වාසි අවාසි වගේම , අපි අනුගමනය කරන මිශ්‍රණ අනුපාත (Mix Ratios) ගැනත් අපි අද කතාකරනවා.

1. වැඩබිමේ අතින් අනන කොන්ක්‍රීට් (Hand Mix / Site Mix)
අපි සාමාන්‍යයෙන් පොඩි පඩියක්, ලින්ටල් එකක් වගේ දේකට පාවිච්චි කරන්නේ අතින් අනන කොන්ක්‍රීට්. මෙතැනදී අපි පාවිච්චි කරන්නේ "පරිමා අනුපාත" (Volume Mix Ratios).

උදාහරණ: 1:2:4 (සිමෙන්ති 1: වැලි 2: ගල් 4).
වාසිය: පොඩි වැඩවලට ලේසියි, වියදම අඩුයි.
අවාසිය: කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ ගුණාත්මකභාවය හැම වෙලාවකම එක වගේ පවත්වාගන්න අමාරුයි. එක බැජ් එකක වතුර වැඩි වෙන්න පුළුවන්, අනෙක් එකේ වැලි වැඩි වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
2. Ready-Made Concrete (RMC)
විශාල ස්ලැබ් එකක් වගේ දාද්දී අපි RMC වලට යනවා. මෙහිදී කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක හැදෙන්නේ පරිගණකගත පද්ධතියකින් (Batching Plant) මනින ලද බර අනුවයි. ඒ නිසා මෙහි ශක්තිය (Strength) සහ කල්පැවැත්ම ඉතාම වැඩියි. පොඩි වැඩ වලට RMC ගැනීමේ ප්‍රායෝගික ගැටලු කීපයක්ම තියනවා. විශේශයෙන්ම කුඩා ප්‍රමානයේ ඉදිකිරීම් වලදී කුඩා ප්‍රමානයේ concrete ප්‍රමාන RMC කිරීම මුදල් නාස්තියක් වෙන්න පුලුවන්.

සරල මිශ්‍රණ අනුපාත (Simple Mix Ratios) සහ ඒවායේ සීමාවන්
අපි සාමාන්‍යයෙන් හඳුනන 1:2:4 හෝ 1:1.5:3 වගේ අනුපාත හඳුන්වන්නේ "Prescribed Mixes" කියලයි. මේවායේ ප්‍රධාන සීමාවන් කිහිපයක් තියෙනවා:

ශක්තියේ සීමාව: සාමාන්‍යයෙන් G20 (Grade 20) හෝ G25 වගේ මට්ටම් දක්වා මේ සරල අනුපාත සාර්ථකයි. හැබැයි ඊට වඩා වැඩි ශක්තියක් (High Strength) අවශ්‍ය තැන්වලදී මේ ක්‍රමය අසාර්ථක වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
අමුද්‍රව්‍යවල වෙනස්කම්: ඔබ ගන්නා වැලිවල තෙතමනය (Bulking of Sand) අනුව පරිමාව වෙනස් වෙනවා. එතකොට 1:2:4 අනුපාතයට දැම්මත්, ඇත්තටම එතන තියෙන වැලි ප්‍රමාණය වෙනස් වෙන්න පුළුවන්.
Designed Concrete Mix: වැඩි ශක්තියක් සඳහා විද්‍යාත්මක ක්‍රමය
ඔබට G30, G40 හෝ ඊට වැඩි ශක්තියක් අවශ්‍ය නම්, අපි යන්නේ "Design Mix" එකකටයි. මෙහිදී කරන්නේ:

වැඩබිමට ගන්නා ගල්, වැලි සහ සිමෙන්ති වර්ග රසායනාගාරයකදී පරීක්ෂා කිරීම.
ඒවායේ තියෙන හිඩැස් (Voids) අවම වන ලෙසත්, උපරිම ශක්තිය ලැබෙන ලෙසත් නිවැරදිම බර ප්‍රමාණයන් ගණනය කිරීම.
වතුර-සිමෙන්ති අනුපාතය (Water-Cement Ratio) ඉතාම නිවැරදිව පාලනය කිරීම.
Design Mix එකකදී කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ වැඩකිරීමේ පහසුව (Workability) වැඩි කරන්න "Admixtures" (රසායනික ද්‍රව්‍ය) පාවිච්චි කරනවා. මේ නිසා වතුර ගොඩක් එකතු නොකරම කොන්ක්‍රීට් එක දියර ගතියට තියාගන්න පුළුවන්.

පරිමාවෙන් මැනීම (Volume Mix) vs බරින් මැනීම (Weight Mix)
වැඩබිමක සිදුවන ලොකුම වැරැද්දක් තමයි මේ දෙක පටලවා ගැනීම.

Volume Batching (බොක්ස්/බාල්දිවලින් මැනීම): අපේ රටේ ගොඩක් තැන්වල කරන්නේ මේකයි. හැබැයි වැලි රොඩු (Silt) වැඩි නම් හෝ වැලි තෙත නම්, බාල්දියකට පිරෙන වැලි ප්‍රමාණය වෙනස් වෙනවා. මේ නිසා කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකේ ශක්තිය අඩුවෙන්න පුළුවන්.
Weight Batching (බරින් මැනීම): මෙය තමයි නිවැරදිම ක්‍රමය. කිලෝග්‍රෑම්වලින් මනින විට තෙතමනය නිසා සිදුවන බලපෑම ගණනය කර (Moisture Correction), හරියටම අවශ්‍ය සිමෙන්ති සහ වැලි ප්‍රමාණය එකතු කරන්න පුළුවන්.
අවසාන වශයෙන්: ඔබ පොඩි වැඩක් කරනවා නම් සරල අනුපාත (1:2:4) පාවිච්චි කිරීමේ වරදක් නැහැ. හැබැයි මතක තබා ගන්න, වතුර පාවිච්චිය ඉතාම අඩුවෙන් කරන්න. නමුත් ඔබ තට්ටු කිහිපයක නිවසක් හෝ වෙරළබඩ ප්‍රදේශයක (Corrosion වැඩි තැන්වල) වැඩක් කරනවා නම්, රසායනාගාර පරීක්ෂාවකින් පසු ලැබෙන Designed Mix එකක් හෝ ප්‍රමිතියෙන් යුත් Ready-Mix කොන්ක්‍රීට් එකක් පාවිච්චි කිරීම ඔබේ ගොඩනැගිල්ලේ ආයු කාලය දශක ගණනාවකින් වැඩි කිරීමට හේතු වේවි.
