The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) successfully hosted the Eng. (Dr.) Ray Wijewardene Memorial Oration 2026, featuring an insightful presentation on:

“The Mark of Human Effort: The Journey Thus Far and Paths Beyond”

The oration was delivered by Eng. Harsha Wickramasinghe, who explored the evolution of human effort, technology, agriculture and engineering, while reflecting on the timeless ideas and legacy of the late Eng. (Dr.) Ray Wijewardene.
