Meet Asela — Manager Fabric Technologist ✨

Asela began his Brandix journey in 2018 at Brandix Minuwangoda as an Executive – Fabric Technologist. Today, he has grown into the role of Manager, shaped by a journey of learning, responsibility, and new challenges.

A defining milestone in his career was joining the Haiti operation, where he helped implement Brandix processes and later took on the role of Operations Manager. The experience strengthened his leadership, adaptability, and ability to work across diverse teams and cultures.

One achievement he is especially proud of is helping the operation consistently meet its delivery targets during his tenure. He also values the strong relationships he has built with customers, suppliers, and colleagues along the way.

Supported by leaders such as Asanka Wimalaratna and driven by continuous learning, Asela continues to embrace every opportunity with purpose.

His advice to those starting out at Brandix: Stay curious. Keep learning. Build strong relationships. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.

Punali’s Brandix journey began in 2021, and since then, she has grown through passion, technical expertise, and the confidence to take on new challenges.

To Punali, being a woman in the apparel industry means bringing fresh perspectives, driving innovation, and pushing boundaries in a vibrant industry shaped by talented women.

A defining moment in her journey was transitioning into a managerial role within the RM department, where tight deadlines, technical challenges, and complex fabric constructions helped shape her into a stronger, more resilient leader.

She takes pride in creating a supportive environment where women feel confident to speak up, share ideas, and innovate with confidence.
