The history of S-Lon PE+ water tanks dates back to the year 2001, when S-Lon Lanka Private Ltd, Sri Lanka's market leader in Pipes and fittings, decided to expand its product base to include water storage tanks as a logical extension towards offering a complete solution of water transportation and storage. It initially offered only three sizes - 500, 1000 and 2000 litre tanks from its Ja-Ela factory. But in the year 2005, it started independent operations and has added two more factories and host of products to offer a complete solution to not only water management, but also to the ever growing problems of waste management.
