📍 Surveying Camp 2026 | Ury Estate, Passara, Badulla

The Surveying Camp 2026, organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, brought together the E20 and E21 batches for an unforgettable field learning experience at Ury Estate, Passara, Badulla.

Throughout the camp, students gained valuable hands-on experience in conducting field surveying, operating surveying instruments, collecting accurate field data, and preparing survey drawings. It was an excellent opportunity to bridge classroom knowledge with real-world engineering practice while strengthening teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

A memorable journey of learning, collaboration, and growth. 🌿📐

A successful and inspiring Session on Conceptual Design of Structures – Buildings & Bridges was held at the Civil Auditorium, SEUSL 🏗️✨

We were honored to have Eng. Ahmed Marusik A Raheem share his valuable knowledge and industry experience on structural design, stability, load paths, member sizing, and real-world project examples 👷‍♂️📐

The session provided valuable insights for engineering students to understand the practical side of conceptual structural design and its importance in modern construction 🎓🏢🌉
