DISTRICT #8 REPRESENTATIVE, HON. PRINCE TOLES, AND LACE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HON. JULIUS K. SELE, INSPECT THE NANCY B. DOE MARKET RENOVATION PROJECT

Today, District #8 Representative, Hon. Prince A. Toles, joined the Executive Director of the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE), Hon. Julius K. Sele, on a brief inspection visit to the Nancy B. Doe Market renovation site. The visit was intended to assess the progress of work and evaluate the level of implementation achieved thus far.

Impressed by the progress of the renovation works, Representative Toles expressed his satisfaction and pledged to collaborate with the LACE Executive Director to ensure the timely completion of the project.

The Nancy B. Doe Market renovation project is being implemented by LACE under the Office of the Vice President of Liberia, with funding from the Government of Liberia. The initiative forms part of the Government's broader efforts to advance the Arrest Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID), championed by His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia.

The Executive Director of the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE), Hon. Julius K. Sele, was interviewed last week, during which he highlighted a broad range of developmental and social protection issues, with particular emphasis on job creation and livelihood opportunities under the REALISE Liberia Project.

Kudos to the Government of Liberia for the implementation of its ARREST Agenda, aimed at driving national development, creating employment opportunities, and improving the livelihoods of citizens.

LACE PARTICIPATES IN CABINET FOCAL PERSONS COORDINATION WORKSHOP IN MONROVIA

Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) has participated in a Cabinet Focal Persons Coordination Workshop held at the Corina Hotel in Monrovia, aimed at strengthening coordination, communication, and collaboration among government institutions.

The workshop brought together over 150 Cabinet focal persons and representatives from various government ministries, agencies, and commissions to discuss strategies for improving coordination and ensuring effective implementation of government policies, programs, and development priorities.

Through its community-driven development mandate, LACE continues to work with government institutions and development partners to support the delivery of essential infrastructure and community development initiatives across Liberia. The workshop provided an opportunity for participating institutions to exchange experiences, identify coordination challenges, and explore practical approaches to enhancing public-sector performance and accountability.

LACE, under the leadership of Executive Director Mr. Julius K. Sele, remains committed to supporting the Government of Liberia’s development agenda through improved institutional collaboration, transparency, and effective service delivery.

LACE has made significant progress in advancing the Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development under the leadership of His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

Guided by the President’s vision and supported by a dedicated team of professionals, including LACE Executive Director, Mr. Julius K. Sele, the Government continues to make meaningful strides toward improving the lives of the Liberian people. These achievements are clearly reflected in the accompanying photographs.

The Sekimpa Hospital Surgical Wall Project is steadily taking shape, thanks to the unwavering commitment and dedicated efforts of the contractor, BMC Group, to ensure the successful completion of this critical healthcare infrastructure.
