RKB bearings for the Saudi wire and cable industry 🇸🇦
RKB has received its first order from one of Saudi Arabia’s leading cable manufacturers.
The supply includes RKB bearings selected for various plant applications, including spherical roller bearings, tapered roller bearings, and deep groove ball bearings.
Following the evaluation of RKB bearing solutions and technical discussions with the customer’s engineering and maintenance teams, RKB bearings were approved for the customer’s production facilities. RKB’s technical support and experience in the wire and cable industry contributed to the qualification of its bearing solutions.
This cooperation between RKB, the customer, and our Saudi partner, Roya Al Masiya, further strengthens RKB’s presence in the Saudi wire and cable sector.

RKB radial cylindrical roller bearings for shunting locomotives 🌍
RKB has supplied high-performance radial cylindrical roller bearings designed to withstand heavy radial loads, severe vibrations, and extreme operating temperatures for the maintenance of a leading steel producer’s shunting locomotives.
These RKB bearings are installed in some of the locomotive’s most critical high-stress applications:
Axle boxes (wheelsets): Supporting the locomotive’s full weight while operating on demanding industrial railway tracks.
Hydraulic turbo-transmission: Withstanding high rotational speeds, intense vibrations, and substantial centrifugal forces.
Final drive gearboxes: Transmitting the high torque required to haul heavy torpedo wagons carrying molten metal.

RKB bearings for industrial coffee grinders 🌍
After successfully solving a recurring overheating issue caused by excessive preload in the customer's application, RKB became the bearing supplier for its industrial coffee grinders. The end users include leading global coffee brands supplying the retail, foodservice, and hospitality sectors.
We currently supply two types of double-row ball bearings for these machines.
The customer had been using premium bearing brands but continued to experience overheating. Working closely with the customer, RKB analyzed the application and optimized the bearing design to eliminate overheating and reduce noise.
The solution was validated through bench and field testing, confirming the improved performance. Following successful validation, the customer transitioned to RKB bearings.
This project demonstrates how application-specific engineering can improve machine performance and reliability while highlighting opportunities for similar industrial coffee grinder applications requiring medium- to large-size bearings.

Lytagra: RKB's partner in agriculture in Lithuania 🇱🇹 and Latvia 🇱🇻 since 2007
For the second year in a row, RKB Baltics is partnering with Lytagra, one of the largest agro-industrial retail and distribution chains in Lithuania and Latvia, on a joint promotional campaign.
Customers purchasing RKB bearings during the campaign receive a reusable shopping bag as a gift, a practical addition that also supports more sustainable everyday choices.

RKB bearings deliver long-term performance in the cement industry 🌍
Proven reliability is measured in years of operation, as demonstrated by an important cement producer that has relied on RKB bearings in its Loesche raw material mill (model 48.4) since 2013.
RKB double-row tapered roller bearings TDI 183314 were installed in July 2013 on all four mill rollers and have accumulated more than 11 years of continuous operation.
RKB cylindrical roller bearings NU 2292 were installed in the raw material mill roller section in 2022 and remain in service.
RKB cylindrical roller bearings NU 1038 were installed on the baghouse fan motor in 2017 and continue to operate reliably.
These service intervals demonstrate the long-term performance of RKB bearings in cement industry applications.

RKB secures multi-year bearing supply contract for hydroelectric facilities in France 🇫🇷
RKB has secured a multi-year contract to supply bearings for the hoisting winches used to operate sluice gates at hydroelectric facilities in France.
The bearings will be installed in winch systems used to operate sluice gates, a critical application requiring components capable of withstanding high radial and axial loads in humid operating environments. The reliability of these systems is essential to maintaining safe operation and uninterrupted renewable energy production.
RKB's Technical Team Unit (TTU), represented by Eng. Daniele Lauria, worked closely with the customer on bearing life calculations, lubrication selection for the application, and recommendations regarding tolerances and assembly methods.
The contract further strengthens RKB's position as a trusted MRO partner in the hydroelectric sector.
