Skaila UAB (Lithuania + EU projects)

Skaila UAB is looking for an experienced Welding Inspector / Technologist to join our team.
Current project location: Belgium 🇧🇪
Employment: Full-time
Salary: discussed during interview

Requirements:
• Experience in shipbuilding / ship repair projects within the EU — mandatory
• Knowledge of standards: EN ISO 15614, ISO 9606, EN 3834
• Practical experience with MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA
• English language – required
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Advantage: IWI-S / IWI-C / IWE / EWE, NDT (VT/MT/PT/UT)

Responsibilities:
• Welding quality control on-site
• Verification of WPS, PQR and procedures
• Documentation & reporting in English
• Defect analysis, corrective actions
• Communication with production teams and clients
• Welder certificate validation
• Participation in acceptance of works

We Are Looking for Metal Painters for Work in Latvia!
Skaila JSC is inviting a specialist to join our team for manual liquid paint application using the AirCoat system.
The project is in Latvia, with official employment in Lithuania.

What We Offer:
💶 Salary: €11–15/hour — depending on your experience, qualifications, and citizenship
🕗 8-hour shifts + possible overtime

Skaila UAB was founded in 2015 by persons with professional knowledge and work experience in the field of ship repair, shipbuilding. And today they are the core of the company’s management.

Consulting and helping our close partners in their work for many years, we decided to create a company that will optimize the management processes of a growing number of metal projects, to build a more effective system for finding and selecting qualified workers, and continue to develop the activities of both our companies.

Currently, Skaila UAB, in cooperation with partners, is dynamically developing, managing a staff of more than 200 employees, and implementing various projects in more than 10 countries around the world.

We provide highly qualified welding, fitting, and assembly services in the field of shipbuilding, ship repair, manufacturing, and assembly of metal structures, pipes, tanks, equipment, etc.
The main office of the Skaila UAB is located in the port city of Klaipeda, Lithuania. Besides, the company is registered in Norway, Finland, and has partners – consultants in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands.
