The new Pon.Bike factory in is officially opened. 🎉👏

The opening ceremony was attended by the Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of Ekonomikos ir inovacijų ministerija, Marius Skuodis, the Minister of Susisiekimo ministerija and the Valentinas Tamulis, Mayor of .

One of the world's largest bicycle manufacturers, Pon.Bike Lithuania factory in the FEZ is now fully operational and bicycle production is underway.

According to Giedrius Valuckas, Member of the Board of the Kėdainiai , the project has been completed in an impressively short time, which reflects the strategic importance of this initiative for both our country and the region. 🎯🚲

This factory contributes to the economic prosperity of our region, but also becomes a symbol of our common aspirations for future growth and sustainability.
“It’s an example of building a modern, green and competitive industry that meets the highest international standards. We are delighted that Kėdainiai is becoming an increasingly important point on the global map, where the local community and international business are working together towards a common goal,” says Kedainiai Free Economic Zone CEO Artūras Klangauskas.

At full capacity, it will assemble up to 450,000 bicycles per year, including brands such as Gazelle, Kalkhoff, Focus, and electric bicycles.

The first bicycle made in will soon be on the streets! 🚴‍♂️ Recently was delighted to announce that the first bicycle wheel has already been installed in the factory. 👏
The main construction works of the factory building are now complete and the factory installation work is on the finishing line. The representative of Pon.Bike Lithuania says that the administrative offices should be ready in March. The new factory team is also underway.
Together with Pon.Bike, we are pleased that construction is progressing well and on schedule.
Looking forward to delivering the locally produced bicycles to the Kėdainiai community.
