Celebrating 18 years of MEPCO! 🎉

Since 2008, MEPCO has been dedicated to delivering quality MEP engineering services. Today, we are proud of the projects we have delivered and the growth we have experienced.

This year also marks an exciting new chapter as we joined the Ethos Engineering group, strengthening our capabilities and creating new opportunities for our team.

A big thank you to our team, clients, and partners who have been part of this journey and helped shape these 18 years!

We enjoyed celebrating this anniversary together as a team and look forward to the years ahead 🙌

Last week, our CEO, Mindaugas Simkus, participated in the First Q Network CEO meeting, hosted by First Q Network member Granlund Oy in Lapland, Finland 🇫🇮

During the meeting, representatives from across the network shared the latest MEP market updates and trends and discussed the key challenges currently shaping the industry across different European markets.

A special highlight of this gathering was the official welcome of a new First Q Network member from Romania - MC General Construct Engineering - together with its founder, Marian Cernovschi.

➡️ First Q Network is a unique European MEP consultancy network bringing together companies from 15 different countries, with a combined team of more than 4,800 professionals and a total turnover exceeding €0.5 billion.

We are proud to be part of this strong international network, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation across Europe!

MEPCO auditors participated in the event “Energy Efficiency in Buildings: From Calculation to Savings Solutions”💡

Strengthening the quality of energy audits is a key step toward achieving national energy efficiency goals. The event brought together over 40 participants for open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and exchange of best practices.

Key topics discussed included:

✅ the need to improve the quality of energy audits by deepening expertise in energy savings calculations;

✅ progress in building renovation;

✅ technologies applied in building modernization.

During the event, Head of Energy Efficiency Gediminas Šilanskas represented MEPCO in a panel discussion, showcasing the company’s leadership on accelerating renovation in Lithuania and exploring the potential of panel technology as a solution.

The seminar also introduced the LIFE Program project , which aims to simplify energy savings calculation methods, develop guidelines and practical tools, and foster dialogue among EU member states by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Audito ataskaitos teikimas yra privalomas įmonėms, kurios per metus suvartoja 2,8–23,6 GWh energijos – tokios įmonės nuo š.m. kovo 1 dienos per 1 metus privalo pateikti energijos vartojimo audito ataskaitą, o vėliau ją teikti kas 4 metus.

⚠️ Išimtys taikomos, jei įdiegta energijos vadybos sistema pagal ISO 50001 arba sumažėjo energijos suvartojimas.

Tačiau energijos vartojimo auditas – tai ne tik prievolė. Tai įrankis, leidžiantis aiškiai suprasti, kaip įmonėje vartojama energija ir kur slypi didžiausi nuostoliai ir taupymo ar efektyvinimo galimybės.

➡️ MEPCO komandoje dirba 4 atestuoti auditoriai, turintys ilgametę patirtį energijos vartojimo audituose.

Dirbdami su klientais, mes:

🔵 įvertiname esamą situaciją
🔵 atliekame energijos vartojimo auditą
🔵 padedame atitikti teisės aktų reikalavimus
🔵 konsultuojame viso proceso metu

Įmonės, per metus suvartojančios > 2,8 GWh energijos, turėjo informuoti atsakingą instituciją (LEA) iki 2026 m. kovo 1 d. 📌

Jei šis žingsnis dar neatliktas – verta kuo greičiau įsivertinti situaciją ir imtis veiksmų. MEPCO auditoriai gali pakonsultuoti.

Šildymo sezonas netrukus baigsis – kartu baigsis ir galimybė atlikti pastato energijos auditą 🕐

Energijos vartojimo auditas negali būti atliekamas bet kuriuo metų laiku. Pagal audito metodiką, būtina atlikti vidaus mikroklimato matavimus būtent šildymo sezonu.

Pasibaigus sezonui, šių matavimų atlikti nebus galima, todėl audito parengimas nusikels iki kitų metų.

Last week, our Vilnius office had a very special atmosphere - because we welcomed our new colleagues from Ethos Engineering! 👋

After five years of collaboration on projects we value, we now call them colleagues. Our engineers and energy consultants are eager to join Ethos and deliver world-class sustainable design services in the dynamic European market.

Here's to the next chapter 🤝

After 18 years of constant growth and dedicated work, today we want to announce a significant milestone in MEPCO’s journey. We are becoming part of Ethos Engineering, an EMEA consultancy business, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, that is a recognised leader in sustainable data centre design 🇮🇪

We will continue to operate under the MEPCO brand with our existing management team leading the business. For us, it is very much business as usual in how we serve our clients, now with the additional backing and support of Ethos Engineering.

Joining forces will make MEPCO an even stronger business, operating as part of an international company with customers in many different countries. It will bring more career opportunities for our people as part of a wider group with a broader service offering. And it will enable us to offer a broader range of services to our clients, leveraging Ethos’s wide range of expertise.

At MEPCO, we’re always looking for new ways to relax and spend quality time together as a team. This time, we chose an evening full of laughter at K2 Comedy Club 🎭

We attended the show “Du apvalūs, vienas ilgas” - a night packed with great jokes and positive vibes. It gave us the perfect opportunity to step away from our daily tasks and responsibilities and simply enjoy the moment together.

On stage were comedians Paulius Ambrazevičius, Mantas Bartuševičius, and Vaidotas Šiožinis - thank you for the amazing humor and an unforgettable evening 👏

We came back to work recharged and energized, feeling even stronger as a team!
