BIOROCK Sewage Water Treatment

BIOROCK Sewage Water Treatment BIOROCK®, the best compact sewage treatment without electricity, zero energy. http://www.biorock.com

BIOROCK® was established in 1988 and is now an internationally acclaimed and experienced company and an industry leader in (compact) sewage water treatment technology. The BIOROCK Series is a range of compact sewage treatment plants, denominated into 4, 6, 10, 15, and 30 person (PE) systems. The revolutionary and fool-proof BIOROCK® units use a biological process and are gravity fed, requiring no

electricity or moving parts in the treatment process. As a result of this, maintenance and operational costs are extremely low, and reliability is maximized. The durable HDPE tanks are produced and assembled in our own factory. The plants are supplied as a complete package for ease of installation. The BIOROCK® system functions as a two-stage treatment system. Initially, the raw sewage enters a primary tank to provide separation and the breakdown of organic solids (Primary Treatment). The sewage then passes through an effluent filter before discharging into the BIOROCK® unit which incorporates the well-proven aerobic digestion process (Secondary Treatment) and filtration process (Tertiary Treatment). Where required the BIOROCK® units can be retrofitted to a traditional septic tank. Traditional versus BIOROCK®
BIOROCK® provides a revolutionary and efficient system when compared with many of the other sewage treatment brands available today. The superb results produced by BIOROCK® have placed our systems in a leading position when compared with older & traditional techniques - such as Activated Sludge, SBR, and so on. So many systems on the market are characterized by their energy consumption, high maintenance costs, significant operational costs, and a high volume of sludge production which leads to frequent de-sludging.

🔍 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 - 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘱 4: 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘺

The behind-the-scenes exploration of our ROTOMADE factory comes to an end.
This is the final part of our series on our best-seller, the MONOBLOCK.

After the 3rd stage, demolding and finishing, it's time to 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 the various components. 🛠️

Let's take a closer look at the flagship component of our solution: 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮.

🕵️ What is its function?
The role of BIOROCK mineral media is to purify pre-treated wastewater, during secondary treatment.

❓ What is secondary treatment?
It's the process of treating wastewater with bacteria.
During this stage, micro-organisms, initially present in the wastewater, grow on the surface of the media and break down the organic matter.
They are the very heart of the purification process.

💡 Did you know?
To live and carry out their mission, bacteria need oxygen.
Hence the crucial importance of natural ventilation in our MONOBLOCK solution.

Once the 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 have been installed, and after a final scrupulous 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸, our MONOBLOCK tank is finally ready to go to market. 🤩

You're going to learn a lot about the MONOBLOCK, aren't you?
A quiz shouldn't scare you off... To be continued! 😉

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞 - 𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑝 3: 𝐷𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑙𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔

We continue our behind-the-scenes exploration of the ROTOMADE factory to discover the secrets behind the manufacture of our flagship solution: the 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞. 🕵️

After the second stage, rotational molding, it's time for the third and penultimate stage: 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 the tank, followed by 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🔥 You guessed it?

🔄 Once the firing and cooling phase is complete, our tanks with a temperature below 100°C are ready for demolding.

𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a delicate operation, requiring dexterity on the part of our operators and the use of specialized equipment.

The part, still a little hot, is not completely hardened, and the risks of deformation when extracting it from the mold are high.

💡 As soon as they've been removed from the mold, our tanks undergo a meticulous inspection to detect any imperfections or manufacturing defects, guaranteeing impeccable quality.

🔥 Then comes the finishing stage, where our tanks are deburred and flamed.
Burrs from the part's parting line are removed and the flashlight is passed over the entire surface of the vessel.

In this way, 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 eliminates any asperities and imperfections for a brilliant, uniform finish.

✨ Now that the tank has taken its final shape, what's the next chapter in our manufacturing process?
