Our After-Sales team provides continuous support from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., ensuring that customers, distributors, and service centers receive reliable technical and operational assistance throughout the day.

Each team member has a specific area of responsibility and contributes to maintaining a high level of service quality worldwide.

🛠️ José – Maintenance Specialist

José is responsible for maintenance activities across Europe. Just like vehicles, robots that operate intensively require regular servicing to remain reliable, efficient, and safe over time.

He performs preventive maintenance, identifies signs of wear, replaces necessary components, and helps prevent unexpected breakdowns. His work contributes directly to extending the lifetime of our robots and maintaining their performance in the field.

José also provides on-site assistance and technical follow-up to customers. He can communicate in French, English, and Portuguese, allowing him to support a wide range of customers across Europe.

His practical experience, availability, and commitment to quality make him a key contributor to customer satisfaction.

🛠️ Rémi – Customer Support and After-Sales Coordinator

Rémi recently joined the After-Sales department and will play an important role in strengthening customer support and the team’s daily operations.

As the number of SolarCleano robots operating worldwide continues to grow, the volume of customer requests, technical cases, maintenance activities, and product returns is also increasing. Expanding the After-Sales team was therefore necessary to maintain a high level of responsiveness and service quality.

Rémi will contribute to direct customer communication, the follow-up of ongoing cases, and the coordination of technical and operational support.

His arrival is an important step in reinforcing the department and preparing the After-Sales organisation for the continued growth of SolarCleano’s installed robot base.

💧 Waterless or wet cleaning for utility-scale solar plants? The answer depends on the site.

There is no single cleaning method that works best everywhere.

Our latest SolarCleano case study looks at how climate, soiling type, cleaning frequency and water availability should influence the choice between dry and wet cleaning.

One result stands out:
On a 100 MW ground-mounted solar plant, two SolarCleano B1A units operating autonomously on a weekly, waterless cleaning cycle helped restore inverter performance from around 70% on average to 99–100% across the site.

But waterless cleaning is not always the answer. 💧

The key takeaway: the right cleaning strategy should be adapted to local conditions, not based on a universal rule.

Choosing between dry, wet or hybrid cleaning means looking at the complete picture: performance, water consumption, operating frequency and long-term OPEX.
