These were the words of our Strategy and Alliances lead, Anilkumar Dave, during the panel โ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ถ๐ฒ๐: ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐๐ฝ๐โ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ๐โ at the European Space Conference this week.
The discussion brought together leaders from across Europeโs New Space ecosystem, including ATMOS Space Cargo, ION-X, Dcubed, and SPHERICAL, to explore how space SMEs are not only developing disruptive technologies โ but actively creating new markets.
Anil shared Space Cargo Unlimitedโs perspective:

Very few terrestrial industries today have access to microgravity, yet sectors such as life sciences, materials, and advanced manufacturing stand to benefit significantly. Raising awareness beyond the space sector is key to unlocking this untapped market.

To make microgravity commercially viable, Europe must focus on faster delivery, repeatable flight opportunities, and customer-centric servicesโlearning from the US where relevant, while building distinctly European strengths.

At Space Cargo Unlimited, we strongly believe that market creation requires collaboration. By providing our hardware on independent European vehicles, we are working to simplify access to microgravity for non-space industries.
As highlighted by moderator, Stella Tkatchova, Programme Manager for Space Systems at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) during the session:

Connecting space and non-space actors, de-risking innovation, and enabling ecosystem growth is critical as Europe works to translate technical excellence into sustained commercial leadership.
Weโre proud to contribute to these conversations and to help strengthen European unity in space infrastructure. ๐ช๐บ
