First Look at the Completed Site 🏗️✨

Here’s the finished result of one of our more challenging projects.
As we shared in the previous video, this build was complicated by the large number of heating pipes running through the space. Despite the extra work, the final outcome looks excellent - clean, professional, and a strong showcase of our quality and craftsmanship.

A great reference project that proves we can deliver high standards even under difficult site conditions.

One of Our Most Challenging Projects Yet 🛠️🔥
This ground-floor self-storage build tested us in a new way. Heating pipes run right through the entire room, so we had to make precise cuts in almost every other panel and nearly every partitioning wall.
To keep everything safe, every single cut was finished with a J profile - no sharp edges that could cut hands.
On top of that, the client requested mesh covers for all the tubes inside the units at the last minute. Our team solved it on site by using the original mesh material to create custom covers that fit perfectly.
Difficult site conditions + quick thinking + attention to safety = another successful project delivered.

Full Look at Our Boulogne Project 🧡🏗️
Here’s a complete peek at the self storage site we showed you in the last video in Boulogne. Where the mezzanine, self storage units, as well as lights and sensors were done by Adrol.
The bold orange finish looks fantastic against the clean white of the unit panels. It really makes the whole facility stand out!

Some of our clients want to get the absolute most out of their building and as we’ve shown in previous videos, a well designed mezzanine is often the best solution.
This project came with an extra challenge: a significant slope across the site. The mezzanine pillars at one end are 50 cm longer than those at the start. Careful planning and precise installation were needed to keep everything level, strong, and perfectly aligned.
The final result looks clean and professional, and our client is very happy with the outcome of the mezzanine construction as well as the layout and construction of the self storage units.

Another example of how we adapt to the site conditions and still deliver maximum rentable space.

For initial site surveys we deploy a 360° LiDAR camera. 📸
A few quick scans of the site produce a detailed .dxf file of the space as well as a tour view which can be measured, allowing precise measurement and verification of the proposed layout against all structural elements and obstacles. This technology saves time for both our team and the client while improving accuracy from day one.

Fire Safety That Goes the Extra Mile 🔥🛡️

Fire resistance is a top priority in every self-storage project across Europe.
In France, for example, they apply a special fire resistant foam coating to all building columns to provide extra protection. As well as also install smart emergency windows that automatically close when smoke is detected, helping to contain the fire and improve safety for everyone.
These are the kinds of details that make a real difference in keeping the self storage location safe!

When Standard Equipment Isn’t Enough 🏗️🔧
For special projects, you need special solutions.
In this project we’re working with a 13 meter high ceiling. Getting materials up safely and efficiently requires more than a regular forklift. That’s why we’re using a special extended rail forklift - the rails are so long they don’t fit through the entrance, so the company had to assemble them on site when getting it and and afterwards when everything is done to get it out.
It’s another example of how we adapt with the right equipment and know how to keep the project moving smoothly, no matter the challenge.
