During the TechChill conference, investors, technology and start-up environment enthusiasts, and other interested parties met the Inovāciju Akadēmija (Innovation Academy or INO) teams at the Demo Day event and tested their solutions. This was the first on-site event for INO program participants.
After the event, team Smart Packaging (Rūta Ozola-Davidāne and Solvita Kostjukova) share their thoughts:
🔹benefits: promotion of Smart Packaging, product prototype demonstration, and new contacts;
🔹impressions: the chance to see innovative products from various industries. The 1 hour showcase turned out to be too short for presenting Smart Packaging to everyone who was interested;
🔹new knowledge: the Smart Packaging solution is very topical in the meat industry, not only because meat waste is not sustainable, but also because meat products are increasingly perceived as a luxury item;
🔹valuable experience: the opportunity to meet the founder of the Nordic FoodTech VC and discuss Smart Packaging's potential and investment opportunities.
