The TEXAIR catalog includes a wide range of products for ventilation systems. Including, there are filters for textile air ducts. The standard size range of these filters is represented by models with a filter insert length of 250mm, 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm for diameters from 200mm to 500mm. Air ducts Ø500-1000mm can be equipped with a duct filter with a filter insert 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, 1750mm, 2000mm long. For air ducts larger than Ø1000mm, filters are made to order.
According to the degree of purification, they belong to fine filters, and are recommended for installation in ventilation systems with coarse air purification (degree G1, G2, G3, G4). According to the cleaning class, they are divided into five degrees - F5, F6, F7, F8, F9.
Separately, I would like to draw attention to cases where the unit incorporates an F5 or F7 fine filter, but the operating conditions require an F9 air purification class. Installing a channel filter in this case can save the situation with little blood. This primarily concerns medical institutions.
The initial difference pressure drop across the filter depends on the specific flow rate of air passing through the filter material and the throughput of the material itself. The throughput of the material, as a rule, decreases with an increase in the cleaning class. Other things being equal, class F5 filter inserts may be shorter than class F9. The recommended initial air pressure drop across the filter is 10-100Pa. The final pressure drop for a clogged filter should not exceed 450Pa.
TEXAIR produces filters in four modifications:
• Basic
• With differential pressure gauge MINIHELIC
• With differential pressure sensor
• Three previous modifications, but for installation on metal air ducts (with two connections)
The design of the filter excludes the ingress of unfiltered air into the textile air duct, and, accordingly, into the working area of the facility with textile air distribution systems. Ideally, each air distribution system needs a filter of a certain length and class of purification, depending the environment in the area where the facility is located and the requirements for clean air in the working area. However, in reality, you can use the standard size range presented at the beginning, choosing the model that is most suitable for the conditions.
