Stainless Steel Vessels That Grow Higher Every Day

Our project in Kazakhstan has entered one of its most impressive phases: the cylindrical vessels are now growing by one complete shell course every day.

CW Technics assemble these reservoirs using the jacking method and a system of hydraulic jacks. First, the upper section of the vessel is assembled. The structure is then lifted synchronously, allowing the next course of stainless-steel plates to be installed underneath. This cycle is repeated until the reservoir reaches its full design height.

All vessel components are manufactured at our factory in Latvia. They are then efficiently packed into containers and shipped to project sites around the world, where our specialists carry out the assembly.

This combination of precision manufacturing, well-planned logistics, and hydraulic lifting technology enables us to deliver large-scale projects in different countries.

CW Technics delivers international projects thousands of kilometres away from Latvia, making the safe transportation of equipment a crucial stage of every project.

Today, stainless steel tanks are leaving our production facility. Their dimensions allow them to be shipped fully assembled and ready for installation. The stainless steel surfaces are carefully wrapped in special protective film to prevent contamination, while the tanks are secured on custom-designed transport supports to ensure their safe delivery to the installation site in Kazakhstan.

Larger tanks and vessels are transported in sections and assembled on site by CW Technics specialists using welding and a dedicated jacking system.

The year has only just begun, and our workshops are already operating at full capacity.
We are currently manufacturing a set of stainless steel tanks for a hydrometallurgical plant.
The tanks are so large that they are produced as separate sections, which our team will later assemble on site — thousands of kilometers away from the factory.
That’s why every component is manufactured with maximum precision and quality, to simplify and speed up on-site installation. Steel plates are beveled, rolled, marked, and packed onto transport cradles in a strict sequence, so that no extra work or time is wasted during installation and nothing needs to be searched for on site.

At first glance, stainless steel vessel manholes may look like simple components.
In reality, they are the result of a complex and highly controlled manufacturing process.
Each vessel manhole requires certified welding, precision machining, and strict quality control — including non-destructive testing. Proper assembly involves controlled bolt tightening torque, the use of special PTFE-coated bolts, and dedicated thread lubricants to ensure long-term reliability and corrosion resistance.
And one detail that is often overlooked: every single vessel requires more than one of these manholes.
Engineering excellence is built on attention to detail — even when the component looks simple.
