Company was founded in 1949, and was known as «Riga Diesel Building Plant»., since 1995 (after reorganization) – “RIGAS DIZELIS DG”. Production facilities include: metal processing, welding, assembling, painting and testing. Company has it's own design department and specializes in custom equipment for all possible applications. Rigas Dizelis produces diesel aggregates on European engines DEUTZ,
Scania, J.Deere, Mitsubishi, Lombardini and other. Company has been certified and approved by the Quality Management System standard ISO9001:2008 by DNV-GL and has various specific branch quality standard certificates. Approximately once a year the inspection control and aggregate periodical testing is held by Certification organizations. The company has a wide and stable dealer network for sales and service. Around half of production is delivered to CIS. Main marine products consumers – shipyards and ship repair сompanies; for production of industrial use – Теlecoms, railways, oil and gas extraction companies.
