A few moments from BIO Asia–Taiwan 2026, where our partner Cold Spring Biotech Corp represented Biosan in Taiwan.

With a focus on Precision Medicine, Laboratory Performance Enhancement and GMP Bioprocessing, Biosan products were placed at the centre of their exhibition presence.

Visitors had the opportunity to see the PCR Cabinet, PST-60HL and RTS-1C at the booth, while the multi-channel bioreactor RTS-8 was featured across the main exhibition visuals and dedicated promotional materials.

For Biosan, local partnerships are an important part of bringing our technologies closer to laboratories in different markets and supporting scientists with practical solutions for their everyday workflows.

Four generations of TS-100C. Next week, the fifth.

Since the first TS-100 left Riga in 2006, more than 40,000 TS thermo-shaker instruments and interchangeable thermoblocks combined have been shipped to partners in 84 countries.

Across successive generations, the platform gained cooling, a broader block range and programmability. Cooling models began at 0% of TS sales. Today they account for 65% as a clear example of how customer workflows have shaped the platform.

That is continuity in a laboratory platform: not standing still, but evolving while preserving familiarity, established workflows and compatibility with many existing blocks.

Standard PCR cabinets decontaminate before and after work. Biosan PCR Cabinets do it continuously.

The built-in UV-C air recirculation system draws air through an integrated filter, treats it with high-intensity germicidal UV radiation, and returns it to the workspace, all while work is in progress. Mirror-coated internal surfaces maximise UV-C radiation density to ensure consistent disinfection efficiency.

This level of active protection reduces the risk of false-positive results and minimises the need for experimental repetition, thereby supporting maximum sample flow-through and reliability in applications such as clinical PCR diagnostics, pharmaceutical quality control, and single-cell genomics research.
