🌿☀️ Back on July 24, our SAF team traded the office for fresh air!

We headed to Lake Kaņieris to help clean up its shores together with Ecosoul. Gloves on, great mood, and by the end of the day, a real sense of satisfaction for what we got done 💪

Sometimes the best team day isn't in a conference room, it's outside, in nature, with friends by your side.

Huge thanks to our amazing HR team for pulling the whole day together, and to Ecosoul for organizing the cleanup with us! 🌍

Gandrīz pirms 11 gadiem Jānis Bergs piekrita palīdzēt SAF Tehnika nostiprināties ASV tirgū. Sākotnēji bija paredzēts braukt tikai uz vienu gadu.

Šodien Jānis joprojām vada mūsu ASV biznesu, dalot savu laiku starp Denveru un Latviju, kā arī palīdzot Amerikas tirgum pēdējās desmitgades laikā izaugt desmitkārtīgi.

Visā šajā izaugsmes ceļā viena lieta ir palikusi nemainīga — lepošanās ar savām saknēm. SAF Tehnika nekad nav slēpusi savu Latvijas izcelsmi, un, kā saka pats Jānis, tas nekad nav bijis šķērslis, bet gan lepnuma avots. Parallēli darbam SAF Tehnika, Jānis darbojas arī kā Latvijas Amerikas Tirdzniecības palātas līdzprezidents, palīdzot citiem Latvijas uzņēmumiem atrast savu ceļu ASV tirgū.

Two weeks into SAFatlons, and the energy is real.

SAFatlons: our own version of a triathlon (triatlons), SAF Tehnika's annual sports challenge. Four weeks of colleagues staying active, pushing each other, and getting to know teammates outside the usual work context. This year's edition runs from July 20 to August 16.

Some are teaming up for group activities, others are flying solo, and everyone's finding their own way to rack up points, whether that's a morning run, a gym session, or a weekend hike.

Halfway through, the competitive spirit is alive and well. Two weeks to go.

The 5G Network Is Live. Now the Real Work Starts.

Rolling out 5G was the first challenge. Keeping it performing is the one that doesn't end.

Millimeter-wave signals are exceptionally sensitive to obstacles, alignment, and environmental changes. What passed verification at launch can degrade over time, and finding the source of interference or coverage loss in a dense urban network is rarely straightforward.
