🧑‍🔬📢 Students and young scientists are invited to participate in the 21st International Young Scientist Conference “Developments in Optics and Communications 2025”, taking place on May 8–10 in Riga!

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research in the following topics:

🧑‍🔬 Scientists and engineers from 8 organizations and research institutes, including ISSP UL, have carried out a project using lasers on the Joint European Torus (JET) to study fusion fuel retention.

⚛️ The international collaboration involved participants from EUROfusion, a consortium committed to advancing fusion energy research and development, with contributions from Finland, Germany, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia and the UK.
