FAQ: Do you use different log diameters? Definitely.

Unlike many manufacturers who use logs of the same diameter throughout the entire cabin, we carefully select and combine different log sizes to create a more natural and authentic appearance.

Just as no two trees in a forest are identical, a handcrafted log cabin shouldn't look perfectly uniform. By using varying log diameters, we preserve the organic character of the timber and achieve a traditional Scandinavian look that feels warm, timeless and true to nature.

The roof is complete, and the soil for the turf roof has now been finished on our project in Trysil. 🌿

This is one of the defining features of a traditional Scandinavian mountain cabin. A turf roof not only blends beautifully into the surrounding landscape but also provides excellent insulation and protection against the changing mountain climate.

With another important milestone completed, the cabin is one step closer to welcoming its future owners.
