An equality initiative in the workplace: Making a difference in the lives of working parents with their children.

"Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC has initiated "The Baby Lynx Room" to support working parents and create equal opportunities for them. Empowering women in the workplace is also part of the vision of CEO Mr. Gankhuyag, who sees the children's centre as an essential part of an equality initiative in the workplace. Provided with the children's room, ETT employees' life has drastically changed.

Chief Executing Officer Mr. Gankhuyag expressed, "Employees must come first. Our emphasis on inclusivity and human-centered development at ETT means we must get the basics right and address the immediate needs of our people. We are proud that we are moving in the right direction. It changes how I see us as a company and what we can – and should – do for our people. It feels more like a family, to be honest."

The total performance of Mongolia's export of Mineral Products is currently at 73.4 percent.

Coal exports are at 104.5 percent, copper concentrate at 90 percent, iron at 62.4 percent, gold at 74 percent, and zinc at 106.8 percent, respectively.

The number of vehicles exporting coal through the Gashuunsukhait port has substantially increased, reaching a record-high number since 2020.

"Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC organized the "3000 miners - 30000 trees" event as part of the National Tree Planting Day.

Workers and miners from both the company and subcontractors planted 30,000 trees in the areas surrounding the mine site and the Tsogttsetsii sum of Umnugobi province.

"Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC aims to plant 180 million trees - joining the 'One Billion Tree' nationwide movement initiated by the President of Mongolia. The initiative also aligns with our pledge to reach net zero by 2060 and our efforts to fight climate change, desertification, and deforestation.

Introducing the "AGV System" from our A6-20 Business Plan. The AGV, or Automatic Guided Vehicles System, is part of the latest technologies implemented at the Gashuunsukhait Integrated Coal Terminal. The system plays a vital role in rising exports because it reduces human effort and increases transportation efficiency. Currently, 20 cars and 40 containers of coal are being exported with AGVs daily.

"Mongolian Mining Week 2022" event commemorating the 100th anniversary of Mongolia's Mining and Mineral Resources Sector development took place between the 19th to 23rd of September.

The CEO of "Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC, Gankhuyag Battulga, has introduced the sustainable mining goals of ETT and "Net Zero by 2060"- an environmental strategy, a comprehensive effort to join global efforts to tackle climate change.

The strategically important Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait Railway officially began its operation on the 9th of September, 2022.

With the Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait railway in operation, the amount of coal and copper exports will increase, and it will become possible to access markets beyond China through its ports.

Introducing the "Zagyn Us Groundwater Project" from our A6-20 Business Plan. The water resource of the Zagyn Us groundwater deposit is crucial for meeting the demand of ongoing industrial and infrastructure projects, which will increase several times in the near future. It's estimated that the proven water resource can be used for industrial purposes for 25 years. The construction of the channel from the Zagyn Us groundwater deposit to the Tavantolgoi mine is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
