Junior Accountant – Full Time
Seifert Systems Ltd is a manufacturing subsidiary of a German family-owned company. The Maltese plant manufactures, sells and distributes thermal ventilation, illumination, and dehumidification equipment for the industry across the globe. With its over 30-year presence in Malta, the company employs over 400 individuals.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate’s duties include:
Carrying out reconciliations for bank, debtors, suppliers, and general ledger entries.
Preparing cash reports and bank payments.
Assisting in the implementation of new internal controls.
Preparing and maintain periodic stock reconciliations together with financial and costing/manufacturing related reports.
Compiling and reporting statistical information and other statutory information.
Assisting with month-end related tasks, whilst liaising with company stakeholders including Auditors, Debtors and Creditors.
Collaborating with IT department to enhance financial automation and reporting.
Preparing VAT returns.
Providing support in financial analysis and ongoing projects.
Overseeing and supporting accounts clerks in their daily duties together with other day to day work within the department as may be required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous work experience in a manufacturing accounts department and basic knowledge of Oracle Business Suite will be considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills, and most of all be a team player.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
A keen eye for detail, be analytical, organised and accurate.
The ability to work with limited supervision and adapt to new reporting or work practices.
Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
Qualifications required:
A fully qualified Accountant, or a partially qualified Accountant with relevant hands-on experience.
Good command of the English Language, both written and spoken.

Quality Assurance Inspector

Role Overview:
The Quality Assurance Inspector will support the Quality Department in ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records, identifying non-conformities, and working closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure continuous quality improvement and compliance with internal procedures and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support the Quality Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System.
· Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections in line with company and customer requirements.
· Perform quality checks, testing, and audits on materials, components, and finished products.
· Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
· Identify and report non-conformities and assist with corrective actions.
· Ensure proper handling and traceability of quarantined materials.
· Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
· Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and properly maintained.
· Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure compliance and product quality.
· Support employee training on quality procedures where required.
· Maintain high housekeeping, safety, and quality standards on the shop floor.
· Assist in enforcing workplace discipline and reporting issues when necessary.

Qualifications, requirements and key skills:
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Confident and assertive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
· Minimum ‘O’ Level standard of education or relevant industry experience.
· Previous experience in a similar role or industry will be considered an asset.

MES Customer Service Officer

Role Overview
The role of the MES Customer Service Officer is formulated with the primary function of assisting the Senior Account Manager with various customer and project related work. This may involve interaction with end-customers, suppliers, production, and any other ancillary departments or entities. While the initial focus may be on order processing tasks, it is understood that the nature of this position is dynamic and will evolve in conjunction with the size and needs of the MES department, its customer base, and its product range.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining order entry and processing on Oracle system;
• Ensuring to be in line with customer order details included shipping terms, prices, and deliveries;
• Sending out proforma invoices for prepayment-based customers;
• Coordinating the order confirmation process with planning;
• Confirming the orders and reschedule the orders when required;
• Coordinating price issues and terms with sales;
• Updating customers with any problems in deliveries;
• Filing and archiving of customer service documents;
• Order Maintenance (including frame orders/volume contracts);
• Providing labels and other quality certificates required for the customers apart from shipping labels;
• To get shipping quotations where necessary and organise shipping with shipping agents;
• To supply any documentation needed by the customer, e.g. certificate of origin, supplier declaration, etc;
• Invoicing and sending proforma invoices as a back-up for despatch personnel;
• Following up shipments, making sure units arrive in time and at good order to the customer;
• Despatch coordination with Logistics and warehouse in Germany.

Qualifications, requirements and key skills:

• Sound education with a good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of the Italian Language would be considered an asset;
• Experienced in using MS Applications;
• Able to fill-in documents efficiently;
• Organised and meticulous approach to work;
• Excellent team playing skills;
• Personal qualities of drive, energy, and enthusiasm;
• Assertiveness and an eye for detail.

Role Overview
The Purchasing Officer secures electronic goods essential for the production business operations, focusing on cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
· Identifying new/ more cost-effective suppliers and negotiating Purchasing Contracts;
· Ensure the availability of material required for production;
· Following Minimum and Maximum Stock Targets;
· Frequently MRP-Run on minimum weekly base;
· Generating Purchase Orders resulting from MRP (weekly);
· Rescheduling in of PO resulting from MRP (weekly);
· Creating Price Surveys;
· Monitoring the Supplier Performance;
