We are seeking an experienced and motivated Injection Machine Setter to support our Plastic Injection department. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products while meeting production targets and maintaining process stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform machine setups, mould changes, and production start-ups independently.
• Install and configure moulds, robots, and auxiliary equipment.
• Moniter and adjust machine parameters to achieve quality and productivity targets.
• Troubleshoot machine, process, and product quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Carry out routine inspections and first-level preventative maintenance.
• Maintain production records and process documentation.
• Support and guide junior setters and production operators.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
What We're Looking For:
• Minimum 2–4 years' experience in an injection moulding environment.
• Proven experience with machine setup, mould changes, and process adjustments.
• Good understanding of injection moulding processes and plastic materials.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under production deadlines.
• Technical qualification (MQF Level 4) preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
• Experience with robots, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production reporting systems.
