We are pleased to inform you that Rwy 05-23 will be reopened for General Aviation operations as from 28th Dec at 1200 hrs (LT). To allow for conclusion of residual works on the runway shoulders and clearance of QA findings, we will be sustaining some temporary limitations on operations on Rwy 05-23, as follows:
28th Dec 2023 (1200LT) – 3rd Jan 2024 (1630 hrs LT)
Unlimited day/(night) operations by Code B, Code A and lower code Aircraft under ATC direction.
Code C aircraft limited to day/night taxiing and towing movements on Rwy 05-23 and associated taxiways permitted under ATC direction.
3rd Jan 2024 – 24th Jan 2024, (1630 hrs LT - 2300 hrs LT, daily) – Soil leveling works
Rwy 05-23 closed for take-off and landing.
Operations by Code A and lower code aircraft permitted on Rwy 13-31, till sunset.
All code aircraft - Taxiing and towing movements on Rwy 05-23 and associated taxiways permitted under ATC direction.
Rwy 05-23 available in an emergency for aircraft up to Code C subject to 20 mins notice.
Unrestricted operations for Code B, Code A and lower code letter aircraft during remaining hours.
Depending on the progress of works, the above restrictions may extend beyond the 24th of January 2024.
28th Dec 2023 – 09th Jan 2024
Code C aircraft prohibited from take-off and landing on Rwy 05-23, unless due to a declared emergency.
