🚛 We're Hiring – Delivery Driver / Material Handler

📍 Location: San Ġwann, Malta
🕒 Employment: Full-time

RLAUTIER Natural Stone Workshop is looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver / Material Handler to join our team.

Main duties:
• Deliver marble, granite and natural stone across Malta using company vehicles.
• Load, secure and unload materials safely.
• Operate a forklift (experience is an advantage).
• Assist with warehouse duties and manual handling.
• Learn to unload trailers using our overhead crane (full training provided).
• Complete delivery documentation and use Google Maps confidently.
• Maintain company vehicles and follow health & safety procedures.

We're looking for someone who:
Holds a valid driving licence.
Has delivery or commercial driving experience (preferred).
Is physically fit, reliable and safety-conscious.
Can communicate in English, Maltese and/or Italian (Maltese is an advantage).
Has a professional attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.

A competitive remuneration package will be offered based on experience, qualifications and responsibilities.

About the Role 🌞

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our stone fabrication team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating advanced CNC machinery used in the cutting, shaping, and processing of marble, granite, quartz, and other natural or engineered stone materials for premium residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machinery including 3-axis and 5-axis stone fabrication machines.
• Interpret CAD drawings, digital templates, cutting layouts, and production schedules.
• Perform precision cutting, drilling, shaping, polishing, and finishing operations according to technical specifications.
• Ensure material optimization, dimensional accuracy, and high-quality workmanship.
• Conduct routine machine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor tooling, blade wear, water flow systems, and machine performance.
• Collaborate with production, fabrication, and installation teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant work environment.
Requirements
• Proven experience operating CNC machinery within the marble, granite, or stone fabrication industry.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, DXF files, and shop drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.

We are looking for a skilled Marble Cutter / Bridge Saw Operator to join our team at the Rlautier Factory in San Ġwann. The role involves cutting, shaping, and fabricating marble, granite, quartz, porcelain, and other stone materials using manual and CNC bridge saw machinery for high-end residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operate manual and CNC bridge saw machines safely and accurately.
Cut and fabricate stone according to drawings, templates, and specifications.
Perform detailed work including mitres, sink cut-outs, and custom pieces.
Inspect materials for quality and optimize slab usage.
Read and interpret shop drawings and cutting lists.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements

QUANTITY SURVEYOR – Marble & Stone Projects

About the Role 🌞

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team within the marble and stone industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project measurements, quotations, cost analysis, and material estimates for residential and commercial stone projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare quantity take-offs, quotations, and cost estimates from drawings and project specifications.
• Review architectural and technical drawings to determine material and labour requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, material quantities, and production costs.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, production teams, and installers throughout project ex*****on.
• Assist in procurement, material planning, and project scheduling.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and agreed timelines.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within construction, marble, or stone industries.
• Strong understanding of measurements, cost estimation, and project budgeting.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Excellent numerical, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
