Earlier this week, our own Tias Camilleri De Marco represented Paul Camilleri & Associates at SHAREarchitects Malta, delivering a talk titled:
“Silent Interventions: Designing for Legacy, Luxury, and Load.”
The presentation explored three of our most technically demanding and culturally sensitive projects:
🔹 The adaptive restoration of Kunvent ta’ Santu Wistin
🔹 The structural and programmatic synthesis behind Iniala Harbour House
🔹 And the civic-scale balance of Hyatt Regency Malta, designed in dialogue with the historic St. Rita Chapel
Matias was also formally welcomed into the SHARE Society, recognising his growing contribution to architectural discourse both in Malta and beyond.
The event brought together an extraordinary group of architects, planners, and thinkers whose work continues to shape the built environment across Europe and beyond—among them influential professionals such as Peter Murray OBE, Laura Narvaez Zertuche (PhD), Alexandra Virlan, Manuela Gatto, Andre Pizzuto, Ray De Micoli, Kerem Yazgan, Sergiu C. Petrea, Greta Tresserra, Jeanette M. Muñoz Abela, Alkis Dikaios, and Nicolas Pomränke from gmp von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects—whose UM BAU philosophy resonates strongly with our own practice’s values of civic clarity and timeless form.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Florin Mindirigiu and the entire SHARE Architects team for curating a truly inspiring event that far exceeded expectations.
At PCA, we remain committed to the belief that architecture’s greatest strength often lies in its quietest gestures.
