Our office decoration competition brought out everyone’s creativity and passion. From subtle and elegant touches to bold and spectacular setups, each desk and office reflected the excitement and energy surrounding the tournament.

More than just a competition, it was a wonderful moment of collaboration, creativity, and friendly rivalry that brought us all together.

Congratulations to the best individual and team setups! A big thank you to Helios Eyewear Mauritius and Decathlon Maurice for sponsoring the vouchers and contributing to making this initiative even more special.

🌍 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿

In Madagascar, where the electricity grid remains structurally fragile and the country recently declared an “état d’urgence énergétique” following severe fuel supply disruptions, access to reliable power has become a critical resilience challenge.

Through strong local collaboration with NEA, and alongside CIEL Textile and Aquarelle - Laguna Madagascar & Mauritius, Ecoasis recently delivered a solar‑plus‑storage solution designed to enhance on‑site energy autonomy and day‑to‑day reliability for residential use 🏡.

For this project, three villas were equipped with photovoltaic and battery systems that:

⚡ Provide a stable and independent power supply
📉Reduce exposure to grid outages and fuel-based generation
🔇 Minimise reliance on noisy and carbon-intensive diesel generators
🌿 Improve overall comfort and quality of living

By offsetting electricity typically generated from Madagascar’s largely fuel-based power mix, the three installations combined are expected to avoid approximately 25,000 kg of CO₂ emissions per year 🌱 while strengthening local energy security.

At Ecoasis, we focus on practical, resilient energy systems that deliver reliability, autonomy, and sustainability, especially in markets where grid instability and fuel dependence remain major constraints.

𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 🌿

As part of Health Day, we organised an outing to step away from the office and focus on well-being 🧘‍♀️ It was also an opportunity for those who don’t usually go on site to discover a different side of our work.

A well-planned itinerary guided the day, blending light physical activities with moments of discovery 🚶‍♀️📍 Surrounded by nature, the experience allowed everyone to recharge, enjoy the fresh air, and gain a better understanding of on-site operations 💡

More than just an outing, it was a chance to connect differently as a team 💬 Sharing this moment outside the usual work environment created meaningful interactions and a positive energy throughout the day.

Overall, it was a refreshing and enriching experience that brought together health, learning, and team spirit.

“𝗖𝗼𝘇𝗲́ 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗶! 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗶 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗿! 𝗞𝗶 𝗽 𝗱𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲?”

Ces phrases et expressions ne résonneront plus dans les bureaux d’Ecoasis.

C’est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous partageons le décès de Nicolas, un pilier de l’équipe ces dernières années.

À l’origine du département Projets tel que nous le connaissons aujourd’hui, il a été le fer de lance de notre projet phare de climatisation du Bagatelle Mall. Au-delà des réalisations, il a surtout marqué Ecoasis par son énergie, sa vision et sa capacité à rassembler les équipes.

Nicolas, c’était aussi une présence qu’on ne pouvait pas rater. Toujours partant pour aider, toujours une blague ou une phrase bien à lui pour détendre l’atmosphère, et souvent les deux en même temps. Entre un chantier et un fou rire, il trouvait toujours le moyen de créer du lien. On se souviendra de son professionnalisme, de sa générosité (même un samoussa pouvait se partager en quatre 😄) et de ses expressions devenues cultes. “Bonjour les enfants de la patrie” résonnera encore longtemps parmi nous.

Son empreinte est bien là, dans les projets qu’il a portés, mais surtout dans les personnes avec qui il a travaillé.

Nos pensées vont à sa famille, à ses proches, et à tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de le connaître.

The solar installations at Decathlon Maurice’s Bagatelle and Beau Plan stores are delivering strong results. In 2025, the two sites generated over 727,000 kWh of renewable energy, reflecting the performance of the installed photovoltaic systems. While the Bagatelle installation operated throughout the year, the Beau Plan site contributed results from its first six months of operation, already showing promising output. Together, these projects highlight the role solar energy can play in supporting operations while reducing environmental impact.

As we approach International Women’s Day, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Trisha, our Project & Contract Leader at Ecoasis, a dedicated engineer whose quiet strength speaks volumes.

Precise and solution-driven, Trisha leads multiple projects with confidence and professionalism. Her expertise in contracts and project management makes her someone the team can truly rely on. She approaches every challenge with determination, always focused on delivering the best outcomes while supporting those around her.

Beyond her professional role, Trisha embodies what we call “nou ti la force trankil”, a quiet force. Comfortable in her own space, deeply focused and grounded, she moves with consistency and purpose. She loves travelling and exploring new cultures, always open to new perspectives and experiences. She’s always in for a trail and always ready for Zumba, even after a long day.
