We were honoured to host the Norwegian Ambassador to Malawi, Her Excellency Anne Sofie Bjelland, together with the Managing Director of the Nordic Development Fund, Ms. Satu Santala, during their visit to Green Impact Technologies (GIT).

The visit provided an important opportunity to showcase the progress being made under the Nordic Development Fund support through the Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) programme, as well as GIT’s growing contribution towards green economic transformation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods in Malawi.
During the engagement, discussions focused on scaling innovative green solutions in areas such as clean energy, sustainable agriculture, irrigation, organic fertilizer production, waste recycling, and climate-smart technologies aimed at improving the lives of communities while protecting the environment.We deeply appreciate the continued support, encouragement, and strategic insights shared during the visit. The commitment demonstrated towards supporting green businesses and sustainable development initiatives in Malawi is highly encouraging and will continue to inspire our efforts toward building inclusive and resilient green economies.
At GIT, we remain committed to driving practical and scalable solutions that create jobs, improve livelihoods, and contribute to Malawi’s transition toward a greener and more sustainable future.

We were delighted to host Isabel Lerouy from the Nordic Development Fund during her visit to Malawi as part of the Energy Environment Partnership (EEP) for Africa programme. As one of the beneficiaries, we had the opportunity to share our progress, particularly our work in distributing solar fridges across Zambia and Malawi. Through the EEP project, we have been able to reach a growing network of small and medium enterprise customers who are both willing and eager to adopt green energy technologies.

Following a productive and insightful meeting, Isabel expressed appreciation for our customer relationship management systems, including our call center operations, and took time to explore our product booth. Her visit was both encouraging and affirming, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining transparent, efficient, and easy-to-monitor operations. We truly value such engagements, as they inspire us to continuously improve and deepen our impact.
