The 1st commercial Solar-Powered Electric Car released in China.
Chinese brand K-Car can get 50-100 kilometers per day without charging. Amazing?
It’s actually benefited by a solar film manufacturing company in China who successfully applied a film to the roof of a small commercial vehicle.
In fact, this company has already cooperated with Audi to provide a solar roof system for an electric car, and last year supplied the “solar mat” to the British DHL Express for its express fleet.

With the development of power and battery, vehicle’s power system has been upgrading out of our mind.
Currently, the power system for main EV models like Tesla Model 3, Model X, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Volkswagen e-golf, e-tron, Jaguar I-pace, Smart EQ fortwo actually made by 18650 battery packs. Tons of 18650 batteries combined together is monitored by BMS for each packs to finally constitute the power system.

Here will be a question occurred: now that the EV battery ‘s charging can be upgraded from AC powered to Solar-Powered, will the 18650 battery can be upgraded to another battery form like Modular Battery just same as the UPS? Made by zinc air battery and other future battery?
