Reserva Mirador is a residential masterplan by composed of four homes set within a preserved reserve at the edge of the forest, embedded in the urban fabric. The project responds to the natural topography and surrounding vegetation, allowing architecture and landscape to merge seamlessly.

Rather than imposing on the site, the design traces its contours—creating a quiet transition between city and nature, and establishing a new standard for contemporary living within a protected environment.

Reserva Mirador es un masterplan residencial de compuesto por cuatro viviendas, ubicado en una reserva de terreno al borde del bosque, integrada dentro del entorno urbano. El proyecto responde a la topografía natural y a la vegetación existente, permitiendo que la arquitectura y el paisaje se fusionen de manera orgánica.

Más que imponerse sobre el sitio, el diseño traza sus contornos, generando una transición sutil entre ciudad y naturaleza, y estableciendo un nuevo estándar de vida contemporánea dentro de un entorno protegido.

A refined balance between warmth and structure.

Natural wood volumes are framed by crisp architectural lines, creating a composition that feels both grounded and light. The contrast between raw concrete, vertical timber textures, and soft landscaping allows the house to blend with its surroundings while maintaining a strong contemporary presence.

Deep overhangs frame views, control light, and create transitional spaces between interior and garden—where architecture, materiality, and nature quietly interact.

A distinctive contemporary proposal rises in Guadalajara, redefining the relationship between architecture, the city, and everyday life.

The new development by is a mixed-use architectural project that introduces a bold yet timeless presence into one of Guadalajara’s most active urban contexts. Conceived as a vertical landmark, the project balances expressive massing with carefully crafted spaces that prioritize human experience and long-term value.

A low-rise commercial podium anchors the development, responding to its urban surroundings and activating the street level. Above it, a single 24-level tower rises with clarity and purpose, organizing residential and mixed-use programs through efficient layouts, abundant natural light, and framed vie the city.

The composition culminates in integrated green and communal amenity spaces, designed to foster connection, pause, and well-being-positioning it as both a strong architectural statement and a place to live, work, and gather.

Casa 52, located in Zapopan, redefines the concept of well-being by integrating a natural canon of one hectare, creating a unique connection
with nature. The L-shaped architectural design separates private areas from social ones, incorporating private green spaces. Natural materials
such as steel, concrete, and wood harmonize with the surroundings,
providing durability, warmth, and texture. On the east side, you’ll find the
dining and kitchen areas, while on the west side, there is access to an underground gym, spa cabins, and relaxation spaces.

Casa 52, ubicado en Zapopan, redefine el concepto de bienestar al integrar un cañón natural de una hectárea, creando una conexión única con la naturaleza. La estructura en forma de L del diseño arquitectónico separa las áreas privadas de las sociales, incorporando espacios verdes privados. Los materiales naturales, como el acero, el concreto y la madera, armonizan con el entorno, aportando durabilidad, calidez y textura. En la parte este se encuentran las áreas de comedor y cocina, mientras que en el lado oeste se accede a un gimnasio subterráneo, cabañas de spa y espacios de relajación.

AB40 Conceived as a discreet retreat within the city, the design emphasizes a secluded connection with the landscape while preserving long outward views.

The house is organized as a series of independent pavilions that distribute the program across the site. Each pavilion contains its own function—bedrooms, social areas, or service spaces—and is positioned to offer both privacy and visual continuity with the surroundings. The layout allows each volume to operate autonomously, with the ability to enclose or open up spaces as desired.

This pavilion-based approach also enables a diversity of interior expressions. Every pavilion may adopt its own material palette or atmosphere, supporting different uses, moods, and levels of privacy. Together, the volumes frame courtyards and transitions that reinforce the sense of retreat while maintaining a cohesive architectural language.

AB40 Concebida como un refugio discreto dentro de la ciudad, el diseño enfatiza una conexión íntima con el entorno mientras preserva vistas amplias hacia el exterior.

La casa se organiza como una serie de pabellones independientes que distribuyen el programa a lo largo del sitio. Cada pabellón contiene una función específica —áreas sociales, recámaras o espacios de servicio— y está ubicado para ofrecer privacidad y continuidad visual con el paisaje. La disposición permite que cada volumen opere de forma autónoma, con la posibilidad de abrir o cerrar los espacios según se requiera.

Este enfoque basado en pabellones también posibilita una diversidad de expresiones interiores. Cada pabellón puede adoptar su propia paleta de materiales o atmósfera, respondiendo a distintos usos, ambientes y niveles de privacidad. En conjunto, los volúmenes enmarcan patios y transiciones que refuerzan la sensación de retiro, al tiempo que mantienen un lenguaje arquitectónico coherente.

, Chef Daisuke Maeda’s latest culinary destination, designed by Firmus in collaboration with Mendiola Arregui, is nestled in the heart of Guadalajara on a quiet corner just steps from Colonia Americana’s vibrant streets. The restaurant’s goal is to create an inviting, versatile ambiance that welcomes guests from a midday broth to an evening ramen ritual—blending conviviality and calm in every moment.

Conceived as a network of interior pavilions, Setoya Ramen integrates four distinct realms—the service & tasting bar, the main dining hall, the artisanal ceramics display shelf, and the support areas—unified by an architectural language drawn from the chaya-gai of Higashi Chaya in Kanazawa. The restaurant’s goal is to create an inviting, versatile ambiance that welcomes guests from a midday broth to an evening ramen ritual—blending conviviality and calm in every moment.

Setoya Ramen, el último destino culinario del Chef Daisuke Maeda, diseñado por Firmus en colaboración con Mendiola Arregui, se encuentra en el corazón de Guadalajara, en una esquina tranquila a pocos pasos de las vibrantes calles de la Colonia Americana. El objetivo del restaurante es crear un ambiente acogedor y versátil que invite a los comensales desde un caldo al mediodía hasta un ritual de ramen al anochecer—combinando la convivialidad y la calma en cada momento.
