Congratulations to our colleague Sukhwinder Singh!

Singh, the lead for wheat in the Seeds of Discovery (SeeD) project, was honored as a distinguished alumnus of Punjab Agriculture University (PAU), India.
There were 300 alumni at the ceremony and Singh was one of 10 who received the award this year. Singh said his selection was based on his contributions to wheat improvement through CIMMYT.
"I consider it more appreciation and encouragement to alumni to serve humanity in different areas, specifically in agriculture," added Singh, who received a Ph.D. in plant pathology from PAU in 1988 and has worked at CIMMYT since 2010. ​
