The government believes that bringing in foreign high-tech companies will help create jobs and improve local skills. While this may be true in the short term, we must ask whether we are really building our own technology or just learning to use someone else’s.

By focusing too much on foreign technology, we are making it harder for local tech startups to survive. These big international companies become direct competitors, and local companies often don’t get the same level of support or opportunities to grow and test their own innovations.

Malaysia needs to give more space and support to local technology. We should build, test, and promote our own solutions so we can compete with global players, not just serve them. If we don’t do this now, we risk staying dependent and missing our chance to become a true tech leader.

One interesting fact about me: I like to think big and think different. I believe we have the skills and the potential. We just need a real chance to prove it. When people say I can't do something, it pushes me even harder. I am driven to prove them wrong and show them what they missed.

One interesting fact about our team: While many believe a bigger team is better, we focus on staying lean and smart. We keep our burn rate low by reducing operational costs and leveraging strategic partnerships. We share services, expertise, IP, facilities, and even rental space. Most of our team is paid based on milestones. When we hit a goal, we reward accordingly. It is a performance driven culture built for resilience.

The Innovation Sweet Spot Framework has been successfully applied by global leaders such as Apple, Google, IBM, PepsiCo, IDEO, and P&G to create products that are desirable, technically feasible, and commercially viable. Turning ideas into market-ready innovations.

For technopreneurs, learning this framework is essential to adopt the same strategic thinking and structured process used by these top companies. It helps transform ideas into real solutions by aligning what customers need, what can be built, and what makes business sense. Reducing risks and increasing the chances of successful commercialization.
