Penang State Government today announced the allocation of ๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ (๐๐๐) ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ valued at RM40 million, as InvestPenang convened the ๐ฌ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐-๐๐จ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ bringing together ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ (๐๐๐๐ฌ)from the integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and MedTech sectors and ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐๐ฌ to explore collaboration pathways ahead of the initiativeโs targeted launch in Q2 2026.
Participating MNCs included ams OSRAM, B. Braun, Entech Electronics, Escatec, Flex, Jabil, In-Tech Electronics, Micron Malaysia, Motorola, MPS, Plexus, Renesas Electronics, Sandisk and Siemens, while 18 Penang-based ATE players โ ABW Technologies Sdn Bhd, ACA, Aemulus, BioEnergy, ChinTech, Elsoft, Greatech, Ideal Vision, Mi Technovation, Micro Modular System, NSW Automation, Pentamaster, QES, Sophic Automation Sdn Bhd, THMY, TT Vision, ViTrox and Walta Engineering โ showcased their capabilities.
Organised under the Penang ATE Campus spearheaded by InvestPenang, the workshop provided a ๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ for local companies to present their technologies, understand industry requirements, and explore collaboration opportunities with global industry leaders.
